God I love this guy. His music conveys the loss you feel when addiction and trauma have derailed your life and you have to pick up the pieces wondering what happened and how you're supposed to carry on.

Hey man I dont know if you'll see this but i just gotta say you write the words my mind can only mumble. About 2 or 3 months ago i was stumbleing thru one hell of string of binders and I would like to most of if not all of you music at least once a day. And I'm glad to say that it was songs like rats get fat that helped me crawl thru the darkness with no end in sight. And I've got 2 months and I think I finally stuck the landing. Thank you
This set deserves so many more views and Hayden deserves so much more recognition. Anyone who hurts, anyone who struggles... it doesn't have to be drugs, it could be hurt in your heart, loss of someone you love, something you wished you amounted to but haven't.... what he brings out straight from his heart is uncanny and beautiful and tragic. There are barely words to describe it. Listen to this from beginning to end, is all I can say. That, and to share it with someone who lives with hurt.

I only started listening to Hayden in late 2019 (thanks to Gems on VHS - highly recommend) so didn't get the chance to see him live yet but I was always wondering how he could perform songs like New Kind of Lonely live when they carry such raw emotion. As we can see here it's not easy. Keep it up man, the world needs to hear music like this!
