Tiger, I bought a GF9 Rapture. Out of the box it failed, it couldn't run one mag without; light primer strikes, fail to extract (caked dried cosmoline in extractor channel), trigger sometimes fails to reset. I striped the slide and frame, replaced all parts except; recoil guide rod, barrel, extractor, ejector with upgraded glock 26 parts. Now this pistol runs like a champ, any ammo I put thru it. The gun is now as good as my SAR9 sc.
I just put one on layaway at a pawn shop. Brand new. Do you think it needs a break in period of a few hundred rounds? Does it take OEM Glock recoil springs?
The only difference is that the lower is much slimmer than the Glock 26. I'm pretty sure it'll seat a Glock recoil spring. The break-in period is definitely needed.
Great review brother

Break in period 2 to 300 rounds at least. Glocks mags do not fit.
