  • What is #NAT? When you first see this abbrev. word, does anything come into your mind? We bet not. NAT, Network Address Translation, is a technique used on the router to keep the Internet working - the explanation sentence looks really easy to understand. But actually, how does it work? What does it translate? This video will show you without any technical words.

    I would just like to point out that your IP on the internet is your router's IP that gets assigned by ISP either in a dynamic or static way. Also if more than one device uses the same router, they will still use the same IP from ISP but because they have different MAC addresses router will know where to distribute requested/retrieved data.

      Nope your router will assign each connected device a different local ip addre

    NAT is a type of networking, the actual task of changing the Private IP to Public IP and vice versa, is done by the NAT Engine.

    Sir private network is in computers and public networks is in router . But sir how the private network connections will come through the computers, through router sir. But in router public network r there.

      basically, it is a network knowledge question. The router has a static route that would forward the data to the external destination.
