Thank you for your tour of Agia Galini. I was last there in 2016 at the beginning of October for a month. I know all the paths and corners, hopefully in 2025 I will be back in this beautiful place.
I was there with my wife in 1982 on our first ever holiday. There was the 'black widow taverna' with great home cooking. She would peel the vegetables outside on a table every morning, and you could smell the kleftiko cooking 2 hours before lunch all down the main street. The local entrepreneur was a character named Manos who also had a small coach trip business and used to drive the coach too (it was based in the harbour). It was Easter and once in the hills the coach had to stop because the locals were cutting a goat's throat on the dirt road to bleed it and carry it down, ready for roasting for the Easter celebrations. The area seems to have greatly changed now! We went to Crete about 3 times after that and many of the other Aegean islands every year. Loved the climate, sea, food, retsina and people!
Thanks for this video Zameer. We have visited Agia Galini in 2013 for the first time and have returned to it ever since. Such a lovely place and very kind people. It is our happy place. This year we will be there again somewhere mid July (18th). If we meet we will buy you dinner at the Onar restaurant 🌞
Agia Galini is certainly beautiful, I haven't been there yet. Is it usually more beautiful on the south side than on the north side? thanks for the video Zameer, I always look forward to your new videos

I totally agree!
Will you be filming an evening in Koutouloufari soon? 😊
I will be there 1 May. Is it good to swim or the water is cold?
All the best! I think it depends on the year, but in my guess it will be manageable to swim.
nice, we go to Lindos in sommer
So cool!
I am coming there this coming Monday. It looks empty, no sun and cold sea
Thx Zameer…. Cardio and Energydrinks are not the best friends ;)
