Divisional games aren't as important as they once were with 32 teams in the league now. You can go 10-6 if you lose every divisional game but win all the other games. However, Coach Shanahan is right: 10-6 teams don't always make the playoffs. If you win your division games (and most of your others) you aren't leaving anything to chance. Winning your division is an automatic playoff berth.
This is an entirely different team than even the 2012 team. It’s closer to the 2011 team but, I think the 49ers are one go-to WR away from being beyond good.
These coaches are so insanely hyped. This isn't just a job for them, it's not a career stepping stone. They are fucking *out of their minds* excited for the players and the team.
