Does this Texa program have the VGT hysterisis test or the DPF regeneration analyzer or the DEF pump override test or the fuel system leakage test or the injector performance test?
Cummins Insite will NOT work with Dodge RAM, even though they have Cummins engines. I would just get Autoenginuity for that, it is your best bet at a reasonable price.
I have 11 sick Cummins powered trucks and 2 Paccar powered trucks..... I have a brand new HP laptop and a new Nexiq USB Link 2 ! Should I buy this software to service both please let me know and the price and availability..... thank you
I would like to see alone videos of your too on European trucks and off highway units, as I have to work on a few of those as well, also Can third party program be install on the laptop e.g. Cat Sis and JCB service master
Sorry, we don't have any Euro trucks in the USA to do tests on. :( To answer your other question, YES ... You can install all the other software you would like on the kits. They have around 70 GB of free HD space when we ship them, but could easily add a larger hard drive for another $50.
TEXA will do all injector tests that the OEM software will do, including cylinder cut-out test, injector resets, and injector programming (CAT Trim files).
not sure if anyone gives a shit but yesterday I hacked my girlfriends Instagram password using Instaplekt. Cant link here so search for it on google :D
Some ECMs, like Detroit, let you toggle between "normal" or "high" HP ratings. However the vast majority do not. This is a diagnostic tool, not a tuning tool.
I think what he is trying to say is if you can calibrate the ECM with your product, because if you have dealer level Insite it will allow you to calibrate the ECM to the HP and Torque settings that you need.
Insite can only be installed on 1 PC. TEXA you can install on as many as you like, although you only get 1 hardware key so you can only use one computer at a time.
Sorry about my grammatical errors in my first question thanks to auto correct, can you give me some names of European trucks you have covered and how good is your system on those units is it as good as your coverage o.k. American trucks like international, Kentworth and such. I work on some Daf, Renault, volvo, Dennis Eagle trucks do you convey those as well, thanks again for your reply
All of the Euro trucks are covered if you purchase the Euro add on ($900). This covers everything used in Europe and other countries that use Euro trucks, such as a South America.
It is 100% in there. Make sure you are on the latest version, and head to the "Activations" tab. You will see Cylinder cut-off and Cylinder performance test available. If you have issues, call our technical support at 888-983-1975. Thanks!

Parameters and signals are two different things I saw a bunch of "sensor Signals" included in the parameters. The idea that they are saying they are as good as Insite is ridiculous. Where is the aftertreatment event history, Fault Code Snap shot data, can it do snapshots?, Completely left out the advanced ECM data .SMH There is NOTHING that is as good as Insite on Cummins engines. Repeat after me. That's why our company pays for 50 licenses per year. Texa would be a nightmare for any fleet with hundreds of Cummins engines.
This tool can view freeze frame (fault code snap shot data) along with even history. This video is 4+ years old, the software has really advanced even more then shown. This tool will do 99.9% of what OEM software will do across *ALL* OEMs and all computers on all commercial trucks with no required annual fees. The only thing it can't do is ECM calibration updates. For that we provide rental kits and we also sell the Cummins Insite Pro licenses as well.
Thank you so much... almost bought a snap on
I have yet to find a SCR performance test on TEXA, that would be really helpful
All SCR tests are present, please make sure you on the most recent version. If you have issues, call our technical support at 888-983-1975.
Does this Texa program have the VGT hysterisis test or the DPF regeneration analyzer or the DEF pump override test or the fuel system leakage test or the injector performance test?
This tool has all known diagnostic commands for commercial truck engines from 2000 to current. If it is in the OEM software, it is in TEXA.
Good review but which one do you prefer the texa or the Cummins insite
If you are doing "only" Cummins, then Insite. If you work on multi-brand, then TEXA instead of OEM software.
I would like a help by kind I am unable to connect my insaite with a dodge 2500 model 2014 can help me

Will the texa tool do the injector balance setting on the Detroit and cat engines?
TEXA will do all injector tests that the OEM software will do, including cylinder cut-out test, injector resets, and injector programming (CAT Trim files).
Does this tool work on diesel pick up trucks as well. Like a Ram 2500/3500 ect.
Yes, all Diesel engines from F250/RAM 2500 and up to all the large commercial trucks.

@@ernestolane3422 you're right. No one cares.
If you have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 it WILL NOT WORK…even though listed. Their excuse is that it is Chrysler only. SnapOn and Autel both read the 2003.
Do you sell the laptops and software, if so how much.
What's the largest hard drive you guy's can offer?

If you have a password protected ecm, can you reset it and change parameters with texa or is Insite and zap it the only option for that?
TEXA will allow you to change parameters and such. However, to remove ECM passwords with a ZapIt you need Cummins Insite or bring it to a dealer.
ThisSupported parameter for each vehicle and model?
The TEXA tool does 99.9% of dealer level commands and parameter reading across all commercial trucks.
Not the injectors test. I work with United Rentals and I have your tool hooked up to a CM 2350 on a QSB3.3 and I don't see the injectors test.
