No they didn’t. I was watching CNN when it happened. They confirmed that it was an assassination attempt. Don’t listen to Russell Brand, he is clearly spreading misinformation. I used to think he was legitimate, not anymore. CNN never attempted to hide what happened. I watched CNN for three hours when it happened. They were shocked and confused at first when the attempt happened, as I and many others were, but once it became clear that it was an attempt on Trumps life they continued to report the facts as they came in.

What information was given during this terrible coverage? No victim names, interviews with people who don't know what's going on...the one guy says "I hope he gets better, or whatever". I think they limit the number of comments certain accounts can make during a timeframe. I have several accounts and after a time each account can't make any comments that stick. After a length of time comments will stick again.

What information was given during this terrible coverage? No victim names, interviews with people who don't know what's going on...the one guy says "I hope he gets better, or whatever". No name of the shooter, no mention of really anything relevant. CBS would have had better coverage if they had NO coverage.
They almost never give out names until families are notified , it's standard practice. It's also a one minute interview with one witness, how much info do you expect there to be?
