I began the video and was about to click ahead to the "real stuff". but - kudos to you guys !! - the presentation is professional that I hung in there. First time in a while that I did not jump the basics ...:))
First, from 2:43 to through 2:57 you can see a long, black hanger above the the exhaust isolator. You will need to pry that slightly towards the driver's side of the vehicle or the hitch will not go into position. The hitch simply won't fit the vehicle with that hanger in the way. Next, follow the included instructions and install the 3 smaller bolts into the weldnuts in the frame prior to putting the bolts through the frame rails. You can then tighten or loosen those bolts to make the frame rail bolts line up perfectly. Last, the heat shield will be slightly in the way of getting the rear, passenger's side bolt into the frame rail. You should be able to gently tap it with a small hammer if everything else is lined up and snug first.
I’m in NJ. Where do you recommend I can have someone install a hitch for my Sante Fe? I would like someone like you to do it and has a clue how to install it. Lol. Thanks
Why did you design the driver side to only have one of the bolts going into the welded nut and having both bolts going into the welded nuts on the passenger side the designers are absolute IDIOTS on that
I'm no expert, but I did notice : A./ the drivers side has 2 LARGER bolts thru the frame, and that one bolt under, whereas B./ the passenger side had 2 SMALLER bolts, and then your two bolts under.....and C./ it was not stated what the load rating was for the hitch shown...maybe not really high capacity ?

Anyone just give this a couple aga dugas instead of torque to specs?
I considered getting a trailer for my move, but screw that. This is too much work

Just good and tight should do the trick
