- Its the middle of August here in North Texas and I decided to head put to another swap meet where temperatures were going to be around 105°. Luckily the Lewis Auto Swap Meet in Canton is under two pavilions that have had the roofs insulated so it wasn't too bad. Even with the heat, there were a good amount of vendors with plenty of buyers early on.

Those Canton Texas swap meets are always have amazing stuff but bit far from my era but gives me idee what to look for near me between Florida and Tennessee.
Mr. B. Here ! 👍😎👀🍺🌭🍔🍟🍕 some of the cars need a little more love.
Good Video enjoyed it thank you Benny.
👍
Good to see this swap meet is still around. Do they have it at other times of the year? I know the people who used to run it did. Haven't been up there in prolly 15-20 years....
When i was working nights and most weekends, that kept me from getting to a lot of meets. It was hard just to get time off for Roundup and Houston Autorama....
I'd like to get to more swap meets but there's not too many in the Houston area. I should be at Conroe though.
good swap meet video, really enjoyed it.
👍
Enjoyed!!!!!

0:44 man the front end on those new Chevys are terrible.....Sweet convetible Ford Torino that thing is pretty rare
Great video!!! I wish I could go to Springfield too!!!
I recommend Springfield. I went 2 years ago and it was great!
Not bad for 6200
My brother had the spaces next to the Torino convertible pretty complete car needed a lot of work but don’t they all Just wish someone needed some AMC motors for their Javelin or AMX they’re too good to go to the scrapyard!! 31:55
The Galaxie tbere was pretty rough as well. I like the Torino just not in a convertible.
I could use those hammers, but $650!
I had rocket SS on my first car, 72 Impala more door!
Never thought I'd see the day hammers were desirable again . my cousin had some back in the 90s and I never thought much of them
I spot a Big A tune up parts box. They were based in Texas, but the brand is supplied by Standard Motor Products. I sold a GMC center cap just like that one at about 5 minutes in---I found it on the way home walking from my property cutting the lawn. I got $40 for it on FB. I have a similar lawn mower (actually two) like the AYP made Craftsman mower at about 5:30 in. One I bought new in 1992 and the other was a curbside find in 1998. I still have both of them.
Scrap those wheels at 11 minutes in on the 1980 square body. They are hideous. Best day of a boat owner's tenure: the day that they buy it and the day that they sell it.
What are they saying about the dog? He seems like he's friendly and well-behaved.
They were basically trying to say I was being cruel to my dog because it was pretty hot on Fredricksbu Texas a couple of weeks back when I went to their local swap meet. I even had an elderly lady roll her eyes at me 😄 when I tried to explain we had plenty of water. Ended taking the dog back to the car with my mom so I could finish walking the swap meet
@@ClassicRideSocietyI thought they were "breed shaming" because he's a pit bull. My nephew just adopted a stray and she's part Pit and Staffie and mixed with other breeds. I'll meet her next month, but from what I know, she's well-behaved and very friendly.
