My rescue cat (ginger and white Norwegian forest cat) named Buttons, jumped out from the carrier right away as soon as I opened the door. He hated the carrier so much and he was trying to escape from it in the car ride already. This was definitely not what I had expected, because most cats are very scared in a new place. He strutted around like he owned the place in one second.

@@Sleepyyy.1 awww thats amazing! i want to do leash training with Deku too but shes a bit of a scardy cat so i dont know if she will like it. and since they are long haired, is it hard to clean their fur after everytime they go outside?
@@kukusdiary9022 Well it depends where you live because my cat goes in our backyard looking at everything and we have little woods area so she can explore over there. Sometimes she gets like leaves in her fur or like a couple little sticks but I think that is it So if you put you cat on a leash it would be best to have her on a drive way or something so your cat doesn't get much in his or hers fur

thank you so much Maryam! =) i live in ontario canada, and i found her off kijiji.ca from a small breeder. unfortunately since they are a small breeder, they don't have a website or any source of contact. it was more like a personal ad that they posted for their kittens. so just be careful when using kijiji, don't ever send "deposits" to reserve any pet when you've never visited the cattery or even seen the kittens. i was very lucky that i met an amazing small breeder

hahaha i've been getting this question a lot lately! i will be posting 2 videos tomorrow, 1 about how to care for a cat ( includes brushing and i'll show you how much hair she loses each time i brush her ) and a second video to show my couch and pillows and how i effectively remove cat hair from it. so stay tuned for those videos tomorrow! but to quickly answer your question, YES!!! hair will be everywhere! and it's endless. so be prepared. and since long hair cat breeds require more brushing, i brush Deku every other day to prevent hair balls from forming in their tummy and prevent less shedding. but even then, cat hair will be on your couches and furniture
Hello! I'm wondering when did Deku stop hissing at you when you first tried approaching her? I had my Siberian cat back on weekend. She was very under stress and hissed at me every time I tried approaching her T____T
oh noooo i hope shes used to you now? the first few days i tried the ( don't approach and let them approach method ) and she never approached me and only hid and would hiss at me every time. so i started approaching her slowly and she would hiss at me but i'd just gently pet her and slow blink and speak to her in a gentle tone. she was purring almost instantly. it took a few more days of petting and her hissing at me before i pet her for her to stop hissing at me and realize that i mean no harm. so i guess just try to approach your cat with slow movements and really try the slow blink thing. it may sound weird but it works =) and if shes aggressive to a point where she'd bite you then definitely dont approach and instead go try feliway spray or diffuser. its to calm cats down. maybe that would help
