Lindsay shading Carl at the start of the interview: "I don't get defensive when people ask questions of me"
Gib on behalf of audience: "can you explain how you were blindsided because you and Carl fought nonstop."
Also Lindsay: "well first of all i'm allowed my emotions so no one can tell me anything about how I'm feeling or that I'm not allowed to feel that way...."
How quickly the questions raised those defenses!
The biggest takeaway from the season is that at NO POINT did Carl EVER ask what Lindsay wants, what she NEEDS.

I like Carl but I honestly think this is what he does! I also believe he hasn’t come to Terms with his sexuality! So thankfully they will both realize it’s for the best.

The thought she think its the fight for two weeks over a career shows just how opposite they were considering she mentioned his sobriety
I understand her answer about how reality TV distorts the perception of time. It makes me think about the weird stuff that happened at the VPR reunion regarding what happens on and off camera, as if what happens on camera is all that counts, when Katie decided not to publicize certain things out of respect for her friend, and Ariana did not consider an apology only done for the show as legitimate. We don't see the majority of these people's lives and how it played out definitely made it seem like Carl was manipulating how things appear.
He was bummed Lindsay didn’t beg him to stay
At this point, this was a mutual breakup! Lindsey and Carl are BOTH to blame and this one sided BS some are claiming is weird ASF! Carl was/is afraid of Lindsey, which lead to him being dishonest about how he felt! Again, let’s take ownership for something. Lindsey has changed but I don’t hear no accountability and responsibility for her part.
feel like whenever anyone else talks about a break up there is some sadness, compassion, reflecting etc while this is just straight aggression from her
It’s a big huge breakup. They were getting married and were best friends. She’s gonna need time.

😂😂 Actually, Carl took the bullet Lindsey was stupidly aiming at herself. Like she’s done with every relationship she got into we watched. He saved her from herself by putting the kabosh on that disaster wedding.
That's funny because she can thank Carl for that. At least HE had the sense to stop the wedding and not marry this nut job.

Carl had months to repair. He knew was done with this marriage since his chat with his parents. The gag is, he’s the perpetual victim not Lindsay. I’m glad she didn’t give him the reaction he was hoping for. Sober or not, cocaine Carl was out.

Good lord I can't even make it through this interview listening to her voice. She's so abrasive and controlling in her tone and body language, it's intimidating. If this is how she interacts in a softball interview with an obvious fan, I can't imagine what she's like in private.

@@TheBreakofDawn She accused him of breaking his sobriety and told the entire house that he doesn't satisfy in her bed. Those two things are unforgivable in my opinion. I have no respect for her.

This girl. 😂 I feel like they’re interviewing two different people about two different situations. The contradictons and hypocrisy are off the charts. Talking out both sides of her mouth. I have whiplash 😂
I can understand why Lindsey would be blindsighted. However, the fact that she still cannot verbalize the fact that they were not meant for each other is a little weird to me. I get it; you were in this and we’re going to work through it. But you two are very differently people and shouldn’t have gone through with the wedding.
She's the most annoying person. Refuses to admit she did anything wrong, ever. Perpetual victim. Trying so hard for us to believe she's happy it's weird and cringe. She was such an asshole to him. Neither were right, but she was terrible. She'll never learn from her mistakes is the issue so she'll always be single. No one wants to be with a critical pushy jerk.
