Genius, I had the luxury, privileged experience of companionship of a black Labrador ( companion) During the lockdown,,,, I find people who were in lockdown complaining about watching box sets all day - living the fkn dream,fkhds. I was looking after suicidal woman, black Labrador,, every morning could be it- threats every moment. Black Labrador,(? olive) Funny as fk, ironic as fk Taking the piss absolutely, I thank god for olive and Mabel. My soulmate passed January 2024, My saviour and soulmate,, I will never be able to repay him,
I watch Olive & Mabel videos frequently. We always had labs as family pets. I’m too old to undertake long walks now so no longer own a dog. Thank you Olive & Mabel and Mr Cotter, you all brighten my days.
When we first rescued Treble (black dog), we gave him a Halloween costume of a King because he was finally King of his castle. Mo, (yellow dog) was dressed as a witch. We took them to the town's dog costume contest, more to help Treble to socialize than anything. Mo was already very attached to Treble. They had me walk Treble in front of the judge (town councilman) first. Mo got very upset at having to wait with my husband, so she tore both her leash and her costume out of his hands, threw off her costume and took off after us. The judge said, "And next we have a streaker". When you said Mabel was a nudist, it reminded me of that day. :)
That is brilliant! I laughed so much when they came back to the front door! That Mr Cotter’s a clever man too; he was only commentating in the Wales v Scotland match a few hours ago!
Whenever I resort to TH-cam to find how to mend some household appliance etc (a few times a month), I always have to watch some Olive and Mabel videos too. I’ve seen them all before but never tire of them. Labs are wonderful dogs, we always had them as family pets before we became too old for long walks. Thank you Olive and Mabel and Mr.Cotter.
