This man was a dear friend of our family as his brother lived with us from 2003-2008. We called him “Andy”. We would visit his family’s cabin in Minnesota and Drew would cook us the most amazing fish he would catch right in his backyard. He would play guitar while his brother sang. Amazing memories. I’ve been trying to find Drew for a few years now and this video was a breath of fresh air. I hope he’s doing well wherever he is ❤
Im a guitar player and i love Hendrix music. This guy is really putting some feeling into this great husky voice. And the acoustic works great with it.🙏😊👍
It's amazing! He's an "invisible" man in the street. Great artist, great musician but nobody stops to watch and listen to him and his wonderful guitar. Just a few people pay (I mean it) his work. And yes, he's a worker!
I think he deserves more...when I needed him he was there a couple years ago...this version caught my chest!!! Gotta give him some kind of credit...drew dunbar!!
I think one should tip an artist if one stops and listen to the artist. None of them asked the artist to sit there and play. They just happen to pass by.
Maybe some people just don’t give a shit about some random guy(with, let’s be honest, a pretty average voice), playing a song they have probably never heard of.
This man plays and sings with so much heart. That's what is missing today in music. I wonder if he has any original stuff, if so I would love to hear it.
I love his acoustic playing on this great song and his voice is perfect! Serious talent! Unbelievable how many walk by and don't tip or even just watch and listen.
When I go to Vegas , I like to sit and listen , Talk to the street artists and get their story . I also sit and talk with the homeless too . I was living on the street in Sacramento in 79 so I know . 13 years later I was building my own home . I give them some money because I am grateful and understand how you can get trapped in that life . There is nowhere to go . I had help and got out and am eternally grateful till today . Think of those cold nights by myself 3,000 miles from home all the time . I was 23 then , I am 65 now and it still haunts me . God Bless these people AND this cat is a good musician too !
This is the real world we live in.. I'm a quite good guitarist, and sometimes I play in the street in Spain (my country), and I often get the same result, or worst, than this man.. - My english isn't perfect, but good people like my music...
Этот человек вкладывает свою душу в эту песню. Лучшее исполнение этого хита! Глядя на проходящих мимо людей хочеться плакать. Какими же черствыми мы стали!
Just saw this !! Big bellies caught up in their Armani World passing by with their heads held high, refusing to look down to the floor. There's more wealth in that voice and guitar pick than in Armani Guci and the rest of that crap that hypnotised most of the planet!!! Hey Joe !!!! Keep on strumming till their ears fall off God be with you my friend.
Can't believe all the people just walking by!! Support the effort folks . Take off your ear buds and hear the real deal. You kick it Brother lots of love from Costa Rica
I guarantee you whatever all those people are doing as they walk by and ignore this artist is not as good as if they would stop and get into his music! Nicely done, Drew! Hope I get to jam with you someday.....
true talent like this deserves recognition. shame that every snob that walked by indifferently could only dream of having talent like this man. awesome
Saw this video early this morning. Watched it again with my headphones before lunch. I'm stunned that no person stopped to give a listen. Very good cover of a very good song. Ten years ago I would have listened till the end and given him a dollar. Today I would have been pleased to have given him a ten dollar bill. And speak with him for a minute if he would have let me.
Wow what a talented man and what an amazing Jimi Hendrix classic song. Wish the music industry takes note of his talent and give him much needed opportunity. Wishes from India.
Wish I was there to witness this. This dude is a bad ass on that GET-AR and has a vocal sound so unique and weathered from hard living. His vocal timbre reminds me of an unplugged Kurt Cobain. Would've tipped the man a $20 easy. Sad that our society has seemingly lost an appreciation for the arts . I think there was a time when a man could've made a decent living bringing such a gratifying sound to an otherwise unpleasantly noisy and stale crosswalk. People will go to Vegas and throw their money into the currency disposal that is a slot machine and wine and dine a half plastic half human hooker before they'll even look in this guy's direction. Kudos to the two hotties that tipped him!
People appreciate the arts, it's just that there's literally one of these guys on every single bridge sitting there strumming their guitar for money. Anyone can do that

Im a guitar player and i love Hendrix music. This guy is really putting some feeling into this great husky voice. And the acoustic works great with it.🙏😊👍
I totally agree and I used to know the guy in St. Paul Minnesota.
But nobody stops to listen to this masterpiece? and only 2 people leave him some money !!!!
It's amazing! He's an "invisible" man in the street. Great artist, great musician but nobody stops to watch and listen to him and his wonderful guitar. Just a few people pay (I mean it) his work. And yes, he's a worker!

No one stopped to enjoy this beautiful song and his amazing performance ? I can´t believe it
hats off to the two young ladys who took the time to tip this talented man and beautiful song...all other people were faceless robots🤤
Not everyone has good taste in music . But we do rock on Gary rock on!
I think one should tip an artist if one stops and listen to the artist. None of them asked the artist to sit there and play. They just happen to pass by.
Maybe some people just don’t give a shit about some random guy(with, let’s be honest, a pretty average voice), playing a song they have probably never heard of.
They were both employees of the casino it appears. They probably make less than all the others who passed. They understand work.
I know the man from St. Paul Minnesota. His name is Andy. My ex is his exs sister. She just told me about this cuz I was in Vegas this past weekend.
This man plays and sings with so much heart. That's what is missing today in music. I wonder if he has any original stuff, if so I would love to hear it.
I still remember this crossing between Bellagio and Bally's . Used to walk the strip everyday , when I'm trying to restart my life in Las Vegas
The lady in the shorts glances back one last time as she walks out of sight. He touched her. How sweet it is.
She looked back at the _OTHER_ homelss guy further on.
Sad to see that nobody stops and listen to this talented guy. Would sit next to him for hours and listen!
How on earth do you walk past this artist!!!!!!! Respect!!!!!
When I first listened to his voice I knew, this will be 3min of pure delight. Thanks for sharing, epic performance!
This is my fav.cover of my fav. Hendrix. I searched and listened to a lot. This guy got it .
Me too brother..
I really hope this fella caught a break and is still playing like a legend , amazing brother
I love his acoustic playing on this great song and his voice is perfect! Serious talent! Unbelievable how many walk by and don't tip or even just watch and listen.
An antidote for many of the superannuated bloated acts that regularly play at Vegas. Many thanks for sharing.
What a great cover!! He captured the feel of the song, amazing.
He sure did my fellow Zep fan 😍🤘
Zep Queen led zep🤘🤘

Sad to see so many humans pass this man up in their narrow minded ways. There was a few with a heart of gold.this was awesome brother.
Are they still humans or just consummers on legs?
This is the real world we live in..

Heard hundreds, maybe a thousand, people trying to sing this song, but in this man's voice one can feel the pain and the rage of old Joe.
This the best version acoustic that I've ever heard.
Honestamente, no es mala, pero las hay bastante mejores..
Sumptuously! How many people rehearsed this song but this guy sang perfectly on acoustics!
Just saw this !!

Awesome... He is enjoying his life with what he's got🤘🤘👌👌👍👍👍
Wow...great voice....100% groove....a realy Star...and so many ignorent People....without words
I would have sat down and watched him for hours! People are friggin' Zombies these days.😂❤🎵
I hope he is ok ,I personally know him and this pandemic shutting down the strip is serious
I would've joined you ✌
Personally, I would have kept walking he’s really not that good ..easy chords, average voice..what’s the big deal
You're right buddy. Many are programmed to behave as such. Many think that they are free to choose their life but that's a lie.
Keith Lauder Jr it’s even worse now , everyone’s glued to their phones. Sad. Trump 2020 !
Man i wish i could just sit down and chill with this dude while he's just strumming his guitar
With cold 6 pack beer
i can't stop listening to this clip !!! the best acoustic cover to my ears .. i want another videos of this guy !!!!!!!!!!!

He Plays wonderfull. He's best
@@shellievignalo4383 I really hope you found him. I wish all the best for him from other side of the world
I don’t care what people do or don’t do... just admire pure talent and that’s it with a beer on my hand...
If i heard this in the street I'd stand , listen and appreciate. So much shit gets poured into my ears via radio.
Quit lying dude , you'd be just like everyone else walking by
Another song that no one can mess up because it's so damn good! Thank you Jimi, rest in Peace.
This guy deserves a recording contract
The guy owns the song, no doubt!
Beautiful acoustic version of this classic. Thanks for sharing. 🎸🕊

I immensely enjoyed that session. The man has talent!
My heart aches to see him out there on the street. He belongs to the stage and the hearts of the people!!
2:46 "uh oh street performer ahead, heads and I give a tip, tails and I walk on past." *Flip* "dammit, best two out of three?" *Flip* "phew! im past".

I have never been in a place where such a good musician like that could be ignored... Las Vegas eh.......
This is just Cool 😎👍 love the look and the song I would keep putting money in the cup for music like that to keep playing
Fantastic, good singing ASWELL , I would stand there all day listening to him 😁👍

6years later I still come back to this awesome cover. beautiful
Very talented musician...........great version of an iconic song 👍🏼
People to busy going to give their money to the casino to give the guy a buck
Great version, but even if it had have been Jimi himself the response would have been the same from the dickheads.
They can't really hear the music anyway. But you'd think as a human you'd drop him a nickel.
Wow! This guy nailed it. This has to be the best acoustic guitar version of this song that I've ever heard. Perfect voice and great guitar playing .
Excelente maestro urbano👏🥇

So emotional like our ride thorugh the Serie A brother !

I'm just amazed that 99% of the people walking by don't even look at this artist, how sad, what's wrong with people.
walter they’re lost in their own bubble.
Yes I agree !!!
Judging him as if he is begging them. Those people don't live for today, they are thinking about tomorrow everyday.
Lost in their grazy humanoïd mind...poor human!
Sometimes I think a lot of people just don't like music. (But wonder how can that be)
Wow what a talented man and what an amazing Jimi Hendrix classic song. Wish the music industry takes note of his talent and give him much needed opportunity. Wishes from India.
