There was no need to organize pan India exams like NEET in the first place. It should have been conducted at the State levels as it had worked for many years. Similarly there is no need for a UGC-NET examination for the award of fellowships creating a needless waste of time for the students; written tests and/or oral interviews should be held in universities / institutes for appointments and scholarships.
