I am a hetro girl and I fully support LGBT community. It was a heart breaking story of my one of guy friend who is gay. His parents disowned him when he was caught in a compromising position with his one of the classmate. He was beaten brutally and thrown out of the house with nothing except his college bag and few clothes. He called me around 3 am from bus stop crying. At that time I was living as paying guest with other 3 girls. I didn't waste time and went to pick him up. When I saw him with swollen eyes with bruises allover the face and body, I couldn't control myself but to cry with him. My heart broke when he said that haven't eaten since 3 days except water. I assured him that he can stay with me as long as he wants to. We were just 18 at that time, I myself was dependent on my parents. And we both decided to take up few part time jobs to support him. We got a lot of support from few generous people with his studies. We went through together a lot and now he is in Texas working as a software engineer, married to his love of the life, his husband is a Canadian. They adopted a daughter and named her after me. I feel touched by his gesture. He is my brother and best friend for life. I have shared this movie link with him, hope he will watch it.

This is literally the best movie I've seen so far in LGBTQ+ genre. It's beautifully written and executed. This movie aesthetically portrays every aspect of what a person and his family and friends go through, starting from him realising his sexuality to facing the challenges of coming out.

As a gay guy from a very remote area of Assam i can never imagine of being out of the closet and telling my mom that I'm gay ..I won't ever reveal it to her no matter what i go through because i cannot give her so much of pain to her at this age . Btw great work guys , it was a lovely movie ❤
Really a wonderful movie. When something is natural and can't be changed it should be accepted. Parents stand as the main protective shield for childrens, if they stay back without accepting their children who else could support them. Very Educational movie ever. Very Realistic Story, in my real life also My Mom knows I am gay but still she refuses to accept for the sake of Society. She knows my Partner we are broken and in touch , she never ask about him . She just wants her son back. I'm not blaming her at the same time I would be happy if she thinks there is a life for me too, and with whom is my happiness.Im trying to make my parents happy living with them hiding my tears having a Smile. I saw me in Varun and I saw my mom in varuns mom. IAM very afried to tell about my sexuality vth my mom. I don't know how she receives it.And IAM waiting for my special one like karthik. To be honest I am glad that I watched this whole movie 😭.......it is one of the best Indian lgbtq movie I can probably say. There goes the proper authentic drama, situation, society and real experiences. And the best thing about this whole movie is there is no cringe not even at any point of this movie I thought that they are exaggerating home sexual characters. I think this movie breaks all the stereotypical gay characters. And that's most unique thing about this film ❤️ loved it 🙏🏻

The dubbing is really good. Usually i dont watch Hindi dubbed South movies because of terrible dubbing, but this one was fantastic. The acting and storyline is very panIndian and any Indian can relate to the characters. Very educational movie.

Today just saw this movie, i am gay but i have hidden my identity, never dared to tell anyone even to my parents. I told mom i won't marry, many questions me but i was form.
This life is very very horrible, no one should born with this terrible identity. I don't have words to express my grief, now i have crossed 40 but believe me still each day each function each outing brings tensions in front of me. I always pray that child should be born either male or female but not this identity, this ruins the life.
If their would have been any detector machine to detect gay child in the womb itself. I feel very sad about my life. Somedays i cry thinking why only me?

Dont give up on your freedom every one has the right to live their life happily, i am sure definitely family will accept you but it takes time you should run for that make yourself productive even if you feel lonely or no one with you live your life for you cause ask yourself how much your self love you never give up by the way i am also gay struggling to open to family but definitely i will make my parents understand my struggle from childhood and how my feelings towards men everything.there was a days decided to give up and end my life i tried 2 times suicide on first time but my collegemate stoped me and 2 time i ate poison with food but death didnt came to me so i decided to live my life and tell everyone my existence is matter and i will show myself whant im capable of doing things. So be happy and try to control emotions, because emotions can kill a strong person and mentally mature i believe that you can do it.
