- Amber Heard allegedly has Jason Momoa to thank for keeping her role in "Aquaman 2," according to industry expert Kathryn Arnold, who testified on Monday, during Johnny Depp's lawsuit against his ex-wife. Arnold claimed Heard's role had been "diminished" in the second superhero movie, and that usually wouldn't happen if an actress was a success in the first installment of a franchise. Arnold also said that Momoa and director James Wan fought the studio to keep Heard on board even after bad press.

When I first saw Aquaman 1, I didn't know who Amber Heard was. I did notice, from her very first scene with Jason, where he's getting in his truck and she's trying to tell him he's the king of Atlantis, there was absolutely zero onscreen chemistry between them at all. It could have been a much better movie if they had a different actress as Mera. Amber's acting even sucks in the movie, let alone on the stand in court. The girl has no acting skills whatsoever.

Well considering the Warner Brothers executive testified completely opposite of what Amber and this Arnold woman testified….it’s obvious Amber and Arnold were lying. The executive said Amber would not have an increase in salary…..said that it took a ton of work and editing to get the first Aquaman to appear like Amber and Jason had chemistry…because there was no chemistry at all and the studio was even considering to replace her because there was no chemistry. Jason told the executive there was no chemistry…..so Jason didn’t do anything to keep her in the movie.

It was interesting how she testified with such certainty only to have her testimony to be squashed by the actual president stating that they had previously thought about getting rid of AH for a lack of chemistry and that her pay was already set.
