    Experience Gain is a video series of tips for Game Masters on how to run Dungeons & Dragons and other roleplaying games.
    In general I love making videos about art and creativity - whether the medium is comics, Dungeons and Dragons, or anything else! I upload a new video every Friday.
    I also make custom content for Dungeons & Dragons available on the DM's Guild here: www.dmsguild.com/browse.php?a...

    I really appreciate your insight. The Yuan-Ti have been a favorite villain of mine for years and I only recently started establishing them in a homebrew setting. This helped me turn a small dungeon into an implication of a larger, hidden empire.

    Yuan-ti is one of my favourite races I am playing as one in Dragon Heist once I hit level four I will be taking the Serpent Form feat that you can get from expanded racial feats

    My favorite race for PC's something that is just so inherently cunning. Great Video!

    Great stuff! I am actually creating a campaign right now featuring a yuan ti as the antagonist. It’s an intrigue/investigation/mystery campaign involving the disappearance of the inhabitants a remote village. Could you do a video on intrigue and clue finding? Thanks!

      Sure! I have a lot of thoughts on this kind of stuff. Let me give it some thought :) Your campaign sounds very cool!

    Hey man! Thanks for making this video, it has a ton of useful information and for a newer GM (like my self) these kind of videos are invaluable. Keep up the good work!

      No problem! Glad you liked it and found it helpful! Good luck in your GMing! Let me know if there's any other topics or monsters I can make a video about for you!

    I've been thinking of doing some videos similar to this, you definitely set the bar high!

      Oh, thanks! Hope I don't discourage you from making your own, though. I think there's room for plenty of videos!

    Lots of cool ideas. I like the thought of as play progresses, the characters peripherally witness the transition from one phase of the society to the next.
    I am doing something similar with illithids dealing with with the slave uprising that leads to the Githyanki. I hope my players dive deep into that. I forsee some pretty epic choices.

      @ImaginaryJeremy  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, exactly! I think, typically, in D&D people don't do enough with time - allowing time to pass, enabling your players to see the changes in the world around them wrought by either the other events occurring or their own action. Love that you're taking the same approach to the Illithids & Githyanki! Throw some personal connections or great rewards to be gotten - or have them take something from your players - and you can be sure they'll dive in ;)

    Thanks for covering such cool and unique monsters! Can't wait to see more! Have you given thought to talking at length about monsters that don't get as much coverage like yugoloths or even some from Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes?

    • @ImaginaryJeremy
      @ImaginaryJeremy  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! I do have a list of other monsters I hope to get to, though some I'll need to actually use in my games & do research on first since I'm not as familiar with them. Yugoloths are a great idea, though! Are there any other monsters you'd like to see me make a video on?

      @@ImaginaryJeremy It'd be cool to see content on the darker fey creatures, too. Thanks for your content, can't wait to see what's next!

    I hear static in the background, you might want to do something about the noise.

      Hey! You're right! I've tried to in more recent videos. I was still getting my audio set up going.
