Tony is a true legend. He is tough. He is the only driver that can race anything and win.There will never be another Tony in nascar. The sport changed after his retirement. He had some of the best comments in a after race interview

Tony is definitely a U.S. motorsports legend. Right up there with names like Foyt, Unser, Pretty, and Earnhardt!
I agree. But Bobby Allison has actually a better record at the Indy 500 than Smoke.
Tony has done an amazing job of being a legendary racer transitioning to ownership much like Penske, Andretti, Foyt, Ganassi . . . none of whom did "The Double".

I got to see you race in a A mod at cedar Lake Wisconsin.. and man you are fast... you had crowds around you all day and night .. we had our super stock there and I wanted to meet you but so many people were bothering you I just left you alone.. trying to race and deal with tons of people at the same time can't be easy.. you would have won 🏆 the race if some jackwagon wouldn't have caused you to get a flat tire.. you are a super talented wheel man and when you won 🏆 the cup championship as a Owner and Driver that was awesome.. also damn can you drive the crap out of those sprint cars.. I am a huge fan Tony.. your always going to be my favorite Driver

I used to really like Earnie Irvan when he got out of racing I had to find another favorite driver and I seen Tony running F-1 and he came over to Busch series not for very long seems like it then he went to the Cup series Smoke#1

Hey Tony I have an idea for the cup cars to keep the driver's cooled down . Question , are the still a 12 volt system with all the electronics in them now . I would love for you to bee the first one to hear this idea . I live in Greenville, oh . Used to push at the track till I came down with COPD . Please let me know when a good time to catch you on this would be . I don't want to type it in or say it to loud I have already had some idea's stolen . I promise if this idea work's you wont be sorry . Nor will the driver . Thank you for your time on this matter.

Not really sure what your idea is, but multiple drivers use cool shirts now. Where it flows cold water through tubing built into the shirt.
I understand the new car no longer runs a standard 12V system. I haven't heard the official figures but it's probably 14v or 16v now which has afforded the teams the ability to let the drivers now have the cool shirt systems. Now if your idea is to install electric AC systems which do exist I don't believe the teams would entertain that. Weight and the additional draw on the electrical system wouldn't be something they would like.
