My friend and I bought two of these. Both of them lost the front left CVD in the first 10 minutes of driving them on grass. Too bad, I really wanted to like this truck. But the CVD issue is probably a deal breaker for me.
What happened? The pin came out, broke? I have 2 trucks in shop right now that have a cvd issue... One is a Kaiju and the other is a like new Kraton v5. the Redcat the pin came out of the CV and the Kraton the cross pin snapped. I see it all the time but on a variety... not the same trucks usually! Not a good look to have 2 and be the same truck. Could be a threadlock issue if the pin came out and is held by a grub or a pin issue if it snapped. Could also be a steering angle issue if it is snapping. Haven't seen that yet so lets hop its not a widespread issue. If it IS, we all will know soon as they all will be popping up on YT shortly!
Kagama 6s on 4s I ve read is decent . This could be awesome too . The 4s outcast is really good and needs nothing except maybe a 40mm rocket fan has helped with the temps but the heat sink is legit . It totally surrounds the motor and screws together like a sandwich with 4 holes . I have one screw holding a 40 mm rocket . Watch your fingers
@Hungrybird474 yes the kagama 6s on 4S is actually about as fast as the version 5 Kratonn and notorious is with the stock pinion on 6s. The new V6 looks like it can get almost around 60 right now on 6s, from the people who have been doing early reviews. So 4Ss is just a little bit slower than what you get out of a stock arrma, 6S it's closer to the Box speed over 65. I love the 6s version. Just little things about it like to drive cups and the way they melt the hinge block holders onto the chassis, make that truck better than what my Kraton was... IMO
Yes bro 👊🏿 I was waiting and wishing u would get one of these As your reviews are totally the mutts Nuts Absolutely full OF INTEL as always Such much intricate is in your reviews even the way your video will show an issue 🙌🏿💯😁🔥
Im rollimg w Team Corally. My Kagama 6S Is A Beast and I Love It. This may have been their rc drop for the holidays.😂 Great review and vid bro. I subbed. Keep bashing.
@GamezOfWar So the 4268 is the one I was actually referring to In this video. I actually own a 4274 which is truly a 4074 with some ribbing, that is a 2600 KV that came out of the Redcat mt8e team magic variation. I still run it in my landslide. But the 4068 I believe is up to 6s capable if I remember correctly but I only run it on 4S on my Kaiju... but that's the one that I was thinking of for the lighter vehicles. The e6, mt8e was not light
I want to buy this but worried about the drivetrain on the kagama. I have had a 3s granite but it has been giving me too much trouble and just gave up on it. Thanks for the info.
I believe the Team Corally Kagama 4s is a waste of money. I have a Dementor 6s and that handles just like the Kagama 4s and it's about the same price on Ebay. I also have an outcast 6s. I believe the Outcast 4s seems better than the 6s 😹😹😹😹. The Outcast 6s is surprisingly heavy. That means it wont jump as good on lower voltage batteries, such as 4s.. So, I believe RC enthusiast should buy or build the Outcast 4s with a 6s setup and send that to the moon.🤔
In my shop, the issue I see with the 4S line up and bashing is the chassis connection at the arm. That is not an issue with my 6S notorious. I never run my 6S truck on 4S so the weight and voltage is never been an issue for me. Not sure what the Dominator is but just by looking at how these are made and knowing what my customers go through with that chassis (near the arms), I think most would be happier with the Kagama over the Notorious. To each their own though... thats the beauty of this hobby! Keep on bashing and thanks for watching!
Team Corally definitely did a excellent job with the 4s Kagama, but they have a problem with the pins falling out in the CVD’s. Besides the CVD pins they did an amazing job with both the 6s and 4s Kagama’s. Me personally I had the similar experience that “Israelite-iqlgd” did with the 4s Outcast. The 4s Outcast is just fun to drive and just performs so well. I would say it’s the best 4s stunt truck available. Most of my RC’s are 6s and the 4s Corally is basically a small 6s truggy. I did need to do a few upgrades on 4s Outcast to get it to handle the abuse I put it threw, but now it’s my favorite RC to take to my local skate parks. Also Arrma did just release the new version of the Kraton 6s and Notorious and the upgrades look excellent. I would go as far and say it might be the better buy over the new 6s EXB v2 Kraton. All that said it’s a good time for us RC enthusiasts 👍…
@JJ-lu6mg I agree about the upgrades on the 6s being a nice touch but they really are just now getting on par with where the kagama 6s version was at. They still haven't done anything with the four screws holding the diff though whereas the kagama uses 8 screws, 2 in each hinge holder as well which attached to the diff making that a much stronger design. The only other thing I don't like about that v6 would be the clipless body. Some people love that kind of stuff but I already see the issues that are going to arise. They're definitely going to have issues with that, overtime. I'm already seeing it with one of my 223S Vortek owners. He wants to change his body because he doesn't like that style and he bent his inner clip that holds onto the body post which with a larger vehicle I can see being a bigger issue especially the way we send it
@@NPCRC Don't get me wrong, if I didn't have a team Corally Dementor already, I would seriously consider buying the that. I meant to say Dementor, not the Dominator in my previous comment.....lol. 😹😹😹😹
I own the outcast, I'm with the outcast. I've already saw some bad stuff on the kagama 4s videos. You better check over the reviews on it first before you go and put the Intel out like that. Bad informationThey're having issues with the drivetrain. With that thing it's snapping
It's not BAD intel.. its my opinion based on side by side spec comparisons. There are videos out there all over on the Outcast too if you want to talk about that! They are not on V2.5 because they were solid trucks. How many "bad things" did you see on the Kagama4? I just searched YT and found one guy that loved it and broke an A-Arm, blamed himself. RC Guy who didn't even drive it and was spitting non sense about the size of the nuts and angle of the servo, and one guy who beat it up and loved it but said it wasn't as agile as the Syncro. (well DUH, shorter arms and thinner wheels). I searched 2 pages of YT videos for anyone talking bad about it, let alone multiple people. I would love you to link the video where the drive train has failed. That is the opposite I have seen and its the same center drivetrain the Syncro is using and I have watch alot on that when it came out as well as have a few guys who own that one... never a drivetrain issue brought to my attention, from those guys. I am not calling you a liar but to say I am giving bad intel when i have tried to find a video of people talking bad about it and couldn't! Would love to see it though as I am a RC dealer and like to know weak spots on things I sell or work on!
@NPCRC yes, side by side doesn't mean nothing. That's the case, then you're saying traxxes. is s***** compared to arrmas because there's plastic , aluminum it honestly makes no sense. I know you're trying to hipe the car up, but come on, man at outcast 4.S is a beast
@@SleekHobbies88 To each their own. I will have it out before long and I am sure I will be able to send it just like I do the 6S version and my 6S Notorious. One guy came out in one of my bash videos and his Kraton 4S didn't last long enough for me to even get the camera turned on. Broke the front arm and harm holder on the chassis. True story! Where is the video of the Drivetrain issues? I really do want to see them. I can show you pictures all day and even link some videos right now of how the chassis breaks on the 4S lineup from Arrma. If you are a basher, the chassis is a weak spot. I am glad you are happy with your 4S outcast! I truly am! I have others that are as well... but the specs out the box are better. Even a couple guys on YT that run BOTH the outcast 4S and the Valkari 4S (which the Kagama is DEFINITELY better than). All I am saying is you said there were issue with this truck and I would like to see the video/s!
Ok, so let me get this straight. One guy didn't land his Kagama right on concrete, with the throttle open, and that means its a bad truck or has "Drivetrain issues"??? Really? I repair RC's DAILY and I see drive cups coming off cars all the time. ESPECIALLY on the Arrma 6S line up. The Outcast 4S uses a slider shaft and would not have the same issue, but does have issues of its own on the center shaft with stripping(at least in v1's). But he admits he was trying to get the wheel speed up to save it (higher pinion would of done the trick) and was on the throttle when his chassis flexed and he most likely twisted the drive cup off the front diff in the process. They will make aluminum braces VERY SOON for that and I am sure that would not have happened if he was not on the throttle. He may have still broke the center brace support but that is ALL that is broke on his truck. I would put the thread lock on the grub, reinstall the drive cup and shaft and be back bashin in less then 20 minutes. Its NOT a catastrophe though! Maybe a bashing weak spot, especially in the cold. It is fair to add that i would never take a 6S outcast out the box and expect it to hold up either. Been there, done that and bash with guys that have them. We ALL have 7075 upgrades on our trucks to make them bash proof. This is a sub $400 truck and will mostly never be bashed like he is or I do . Most guys don't even have ramps. But the brace was the problem there and an easy fix... one corally will probably do themselves, if it is a repeat issue. He lost his shaft and pulled the cup off cause he was trying to save it on impact! Fact! Tell guys all the time while we are sending them... get off that trigger... lol

This "new" kagama is nothing more than a heavier truggy version of the underwhelming and slow Snycro. The 4S Outcast can be faster than 50MPH out of the box with no pinion gear swap. This was a waste of time, you should have compared this with the Syncro or the traxxas jato, both are slow underwhelming RC's 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Its not heavier... close to same weight actually. And I DID mention that the 2400rpm motor was going to be fast then the Kagama's? Why is speed the only thing that matters to you? Not having to rebuild a truck over an arm breaking off the hinge pin is ALSO a plus for some people! That Kagama is also well over 50 with 2 teeth upgear or 1 tooth and larger tires, as my customer just did! The new Jato is NOT a jato... I don't care what Traxxas calls it and that is NOT a truggy either or a 4S truck. Its not all about speed in the RC market even though some people will try and make the speed the factor. I appreciate your opinion but not everyone is ONLY focused on speed and they are less then 10mph difference with that 400kv difference!
@@3SonsRC i deal with people like this all the time. No where did I say the Kagama was faster then the Outcast, nor did I base my comparison on the speed. So I kind of figured he already had a preference and when he said it was heavier, and it isn't (they are a few grams difference), i kind of figured.
