Yeah GamePass you only get the standard game noting high then that it doesn’t matter what Gamepass you have you still get the standard game and you can still buy the game too for game sales that’s how they are going to make the money back and Xbox is not like PlayStation GamePass is like Netflix so yes I don’t know how it’s going to work right now but let’s wait and see what happens in the near future with it.

Your concerns are based on the logic that the revenue is brought down by merging with gamepass. This isn't true if they keep your subscription for the year, they would likely require ultimate which over the year costs more than £80. So they would actually from a Microsoft perspective be making more money. They only lose money if you cancel gamepass before halfway through the year

I’m glad you’re talking about the side effects this could have on gaming in general. Subscriptions are good for us but terrible business. Most barely make money if they even do but they do have other ways to make money so it’s ok as long as they have other sources to make up for it.

I wish they would put out Blackout 2. I liked it better than Warzone. Add the ability to respawn teammates to it.
For Pete's sake, please do your due diligence! The game pass has a full game upgrade option usually 20 dollars or less. New games on game pass are the standard edition. Old games like the earlier cod come with all dlc most of the time. Game pass also has a cloud play feature on most games. So you don't need to install the game and all updates are automatically current. As far as the ridiculous opinion of game pass Making bundles become more expensive that has not happened on any game on the game pass, for example, Madden has not had drastic hikes in packs nor has fifa, NHL, NBA 2k mlb the show none of them have. Also as soon as ea play joined Xbox every madden was added. Couple that with the server updates on old cod games they will also be on game pass. In madden and most other games you get discounts on dlc. We get discount on Microsoft point so cod points will probably be discounted as well. Also on game pass there's a reward system you get points for playing games earning achievements ect from any game on the game pass points can be spent on gift cards subscriptions or various swagg gaming gear and accessories ect. I have a series s with only madden and mw3 installed. I have hundreds of games linked to my profile and never have any storage or update/ install issue at all. Play next gen games on the cloud and old game came be played off my external. That's a brief summary of things all of the content creators have flat out overlooked. Once again please do your due diligence!!!

Fortnite can do that cause they only have to worry about Fortnite. The Gamepass has a lot of games on it that cost tens if not hundreds of millions to make. An extra 10 bucks every few months is a drop of what they need to sustain itself with so many games on it
@@superman1875 GP makes in the range of 2-3 billion based on sub count and avg price, they spend just over $1B to put games on GP. Aside from the money generated by mtx and dlc purchases. They wouldn't be attempting to do this if they saw no potential in it.
@superman1875 you gotta think about how many people it's gonna bring into GamePass. You don't need a console or pc to play GamePass titles. You can play them on your phone if you wanted to. That's the one thing GP did right. By allowing it to be on a variety of devices, you have access to a lot more customers.

The last game to use the older shared engine was Infinite Warfare, which utilized the IW 7.0 engine (which is a heavily modified & upgraded version of the engine since Call of Duty 2 on the IW 2.0).
IW 8.0 was a brand-new engine made for MW19 and onward. It's not a part of the old engine in any way; it was made specifically for this game.
