Can the stem be made to grow thicker somehow? My lemon gum is very top heavy with a tiny stem and can’t support itself but I don’t just want to cut off the top. It feels wrong. I’ve been looking for books about eucalypts grown in gardens but haven’t found any yet.
NO such tree as EUCALYPTUS SILVER DOLLAR - it is a generic term given (usually by florists) for eucalypts that have round leaves- this applies to about 40 different such species. Better to loo for their accurate botanical name

I have a Eucalyptus silver dollar in a pot 8-9' tall its leaning a lot, can I cut back the central leader shorter to make it grow back stronger?
