I am a 90s raver, you know, you may pardon me. :-)
We only had rave, trance, hardtrance, happy rave, gabber and euro dance, the more poppy music which , though, everyone listened to in discotheques. 2Unlimited, Captain Hollywood and Dr. Aban or Cultue Beat or Snap were inconturnable. :-)
