The gamma doesn't sound as smooth at all.. has more of a high pitched annoying sound.. I have used a sedu and a few T3 as well as the Dyson... the Dyson is an amazing product. Far as the self cleaning.. it just blew the junk out into the atmosphere of the room? Another review pointing out some interesting issues with the Gamma.. the noise is horrible.. even amazon reviews are reporting that. th-cam.com/video/O8sDy6g-5xA/w-d-xo.html
I enjoyed the Dyson for over a year. And I'm in Love with the Gama IQ. It is lightweight, and comfortable in my small hands. They were both expensive, but I feel that they were both worth the price. The Gama has helped reduce my shoulder and wrist fatigue. I've not tried or seen any other gamma dryers.... I'll have to look. (I really love the IQ look and feel in my hand....)
why don't you teach about using real blow dry on long hair with a round brush, and not so much theory and blah. blah blah ... and not what can be read in an instructional in google ,, cheers

What stand you use for gama?
I use a standard dryer holder for my Gama. (I have a wall mounted appliance holder on my cart)

I swear I don't hear the high pitch. But I'm 50..and I've lost a lot of hearing from using blow dryers for 30 years....
Unforrtunately my excitement about this hairdryer did not last a week, stopped working and I will never buy another again or its successor Xcell.
