  • On their Bewildered podcast, Martha and Ro explore the many ways that the culture pulls us away from our true nature. However-as they want to make absolutely clear in this episode-the culture is not the boss of us!
As Martha and Ro point out, we have a hand in creating the culture, and it can be thrilling to look at the power we have when we put ourselves into the cultural equation.
To learn how to step fully into your role as a creator of the culture (and why it matters), tune in for the full episode!

I love the reminder that we change the culture and therefore the world through living a life in integrity, questioning the sometimes weird cultural norms. I don't have to convert anybody through talking about what could be better. I just have to "be the change that I want to see in the world", as Gandhi pointed out as well.
Thanks a lot for the funny and eloquent episode!

Is having-to-come-to-the-point-fast another idea of modern Western cultures? 🤔 I wonder what our Huichol sisters would say, with their tradition of Story-telling & dream-sharing in the morning... (this is real question for me, storyteller, getting to the point in spiral moves 😁

I think they are trying to talk about this without telling so much personal stuff with an example, which is helpful to me. I used to try to change culture through whom I saw as powerful "Karen", mom, set to the grave wife. Because she was allowed to talk, fed everyone or not and was the acceptable woman form.
I am not gay but wow is the rural midwest a difficult place if your capable of learning.
