I don't know much about the AfD but anti-immigration is not extremism.

It is so often extra kindling to social unrest, facilitating violent protest and societal moral panic backlashes. It is also a position of hate, fear and anger. Of course it is never presented or perceived as such by those who so firmly hold this view that they can't see any other perspective. Instead they'd argue their beliefs come from a patriotic love of their country and a desire to protect it from outside threats. The problem is: whenever a love for any country results in hatred of other cultures, religions and races...it's xenophobia. Any desire to protect that results in violent, extreme methods is effectively vigilantism and, lastly, the so-called 'threat' that they are trying to defend is massively misunderstood and grossly exaggerated by far-right parties trying to get into power. So yes, in most cases, anti-immigration/anti-humanitarianism is a common feature of many extremist, far right movements across the world.

Shame on you, going into a country as a journalist and can’t speak a lick of their language. Yet, you can make all sorts of allegations 😂 I sure hope you had a proper translator on call..
