Good morning, another tough trust verse pick but I decided to go with Ch 54:21-22. Ammoron, rather than trusting in God, put his trust in his own abilities and worldly things. This can be easy to do when one gains power and authority. Furthermore, not only did he not believe there was a God but he also didn’t believe there was a devil, so there would be no consequence for his actions. Even as a believer, I have to be careful to remember to thank God in all things, but I’m so glad I have knowledge that there is both good and evil and I can chose whom I decide to follow.
Chapter 53: 2:06 21 Yea, they were men of truth and soberness, for they had been taught to keep the commandments of God and to walk uprightly before him.
