Arda guler please
Wait, I know the green jersey, it comes from Vietnam football club?
The fact that the Atalanta defender was going easy on those kids makes you realise how much difficult and challenging professional football is
This is not an Atalanta defender.. he play few games on the wing, but Gasperini never like him, because he cannot defend...
@@ilsuocavallopazzo is he a full back or a forward
@@Y7SH-V1 he play the midfield wing. He is more offensive, with a good technique, but lack in tactical.
And Bakker is one of the worst difensive players that I've ever seen
@@ilsuocavallopazzohe’s a defender and stop crying. He just made the wrong decision to join Atalanta. He was really good at Leverkussen
Look at how Bakker only touched the ball 5 times before getting past his man. When you're truly good, simplicity is more than enough.
Yeah but had he face against the other freestyler I think it will be much harder.
7-8 touches*
body feint
He's so much quicker and stronger than these children. No amount of fancy tricks can make up for such a big difference in size, strength, and speed.
He is way taller so he can afford to do that
Just a few runs and see how exhausted the amateurs are. And Bakker is just warming up. Pros are no joke.
Exactly. Conditioning and stamina is paramount. These amateurs don't have it
I was thinking about that when they said to him he was halfway thru like to reassure him as if he were tired and he looked like he could have a smoke and eat a sandwich.
He looked like he could have done another twelve people no problem without even breaking a sweat.
I had a friend of mine who was a pro player that used to come to my place to take me to run. While I thought I was dying, he used to say: "okay, now we are halfway thru", and I was, like, "WHAT?". Then when I was completely out of it, he was like, "alright, but the last leg we do it SPRINTING". And then, when I literally collapsed to the ground, he lifted me up and said "okay, now we go play tennis", and took the racket and balls.
No excuse for being unfit
This really goes to show the difference in amateur and professional, they level they play at is insane
Plenty of good amateurs out there who are as good but were unlucky
It's the system home 👍
lol should be lightwork, just like gettin anyone to do your job they won't be as good as u

Can we get Maguire vs Amateur😂😂😂
Get past people is not about how fancy or acrobat you are, is about the acceleration, reaction and strength. When you look at messi, robben or others pro, they dont need a lot of crossover, drag back etc. Just a body faint, and then accelerate with your quad and protect with your body strength.
Dribbling past a players in a 5 aside or 11 a-side is different (easier) to dribbling past someone 1v1 with nobody else involved. I 1v1 you need to do something to make the othe player lose their balance or go the other way; a drag back, step over or feint etc.
yeah i agree. they’re used to people biting, whereas he just waited for them to commit. not one of them tried to go direct. they all lost all their momentum trying 50 stepovers first.
Agreed. The field was a huge advantage to the pro since the ball does not run fast in thick grass.
I think they just didn’t have the timing and experience of course it’s harder in that kind of pitch but he just better
Youre ignoring how important the body feint is.
12:31
I love this right here. He put so much pressure with the sudden movement and sound that the guy made an unforced error, making it look easy.
Loved this! Big up all the players- great to see Mike on this 💯
😊
The different is too big. I remember playing futsal with pro GK in my country yet he dribble like pro futsal player. No matter what their position is, as long as they are pro, they are far more comfortable with ball than us
He must be good coz look at the challenge where Ben Forster took with Ramsdale they were pretty mid with finishing
@@andyangchannel not sure about his finishing bcs he love to assist but hes a solid dribbler in that game. He play for national team that time so hes at his peak.
Same with my cousin, he played GK when we were young and he somehow ended up going pro at midfielder and played for 10 years in europe (romania, bulgaria, cyprus and then went to qatar) and played for our national team (gabon). people don't realize even a pro goalkeeper is much better than you on the ball
@@otalaedwinglad train similar drills at pro. They have to be ready to play midfield
I'd love to know wich futsal gk you're talking about ! :)
Balance and acceleration difference is massive. Even if get him past with some skills or movements, getting caught up within 2 steps at most. No chances
i respect Gunther got up even after a serious knee injury at 17:00. legend, injuries are the downfall for most players.
The difference pro and amatuer is evident
True, but you haven't even watched the video yet lmao
Was thinking the same
The difference between a real football player and a freestyler*
ci mancherebbe. E' ovvio.
@@Loyal_0👍🏾esatto
Those guys that went up against the Pro are really decent players fr
Those first 2 or 3 meters of explosion after you make a good move as a striker are key. The defender is always with his back to the goal so if you can get to the ball after getting him to shift his weight, you're in good shape. Some of these guys can have a future with the right fitness and strength.
The Messi player has mad talent he’s already explosive and quick with his low center of gravity imagine if he got proper strength and conditioning coach from a club
well pointed out. this is a critical element that many amateur players ignore, even or maybe especially those pro level freestylists. they concentrate too much on using their ball skills and fancy footwork to get the ball past the defender, but they forget they themselves have to go past the defender also. the ball must go past the defender and your BODY must also go past the defender. otherwise, as you can see here, the defender will just step between you and the ball and block you off. apart from foot skills, you should use body feints to fool the defender into putting his weight in the wrong direction or at least be able to quickly shift your body weight to go past the defender yourself. look at how basketball players go past their man. they constantly shift their weight back and forth, back and forth. not being able to do that is fatal, no matter how good your ball skills.
Exactly. These guys didn't have the fitness strength and stamina Bakker has. Most had the technique
This is absolutely correct. I was a very gifted athlete when it came to top speed, jumping and strength but my initial acceleration and agility was lacking which meant I was useless against more suitable athletes
Love this video. The amateurs gave it a really good go and were skilful but the pro was streets ahead. Slightest mistake and he was on it. They moved a lot, he didn't move much. Thanks for the video to the guys who made it, the amateurs and the pro!
I love how humble these guys were even before they met the pro. Great group of guys. 😊
Bakker was so insanely washed when he was at Leverkusen and it doesn't change the fact he's f**** insane compared to everday people 😅
Fr
It can't be seen well in the video, but Gunther after he got stopped in the second attempt, suffered a major injury. He made a video about it, and he had to be operated because of it. I haven't watched his videos for a long time, but I loved watching his amazing skills back then. I hope he will recover soon from that injury ❤❤❤
mi è dispiaciuto tanto per gunther
Oh thats interesting-It must of been an old injury? plus his fitness level at the time especially compared to bakker. Because in the slow motion it's hard to tell what was the cause of it as there was no foul at all. its like something gave way
@@fredwanders2448 yeah it was, he explained that in his career he had many injuries, and that in the last months he wasn't very good due to an inflammation of the groin, but he decided to do this video anyway since he was supposed to do only 2 dribblings. Unfortunately during the second one his harmstring completely detached. Bakker had no fault, he didn't do anything, Gunther's leg simply gave way
@mtulliocicerone whoa poor dude!!! look like he was holding his groin. But probably bracing the side of his inner thigh to hold the pain back
@@mtulliociceroneu doubt it. If it detached he wouldn't be able to walk. Likely partial tear. I've had that and I continued playing. The backside of my leg showed internal bleeding. Didn't hurt much but I felt it tear
As a former trainer I think all guys are extremely talented ! A professional defender is more athletic and powerful but these are very good not professional players
i always thought pro freestyle can get pass pro footballer easier, this prove im so dumb
Freestyle is very different from playing on the field.. you can see he is not as light-footed as someone who frequently plays an 11-a-side.. worse is he is up against a pro defender who plays in Europe.
You can out skill a pro defender but their positioning, awareness and strength is so good they will always recover against an amateur
No worries. But at least you learned. Some people still think that their amateur ahh could actually keep up with the pace and skills of a pro game. Lol. At least you thought these tricksters could do it and not a random amateur guy...
Still, there's a reason why we don't see these guys making millions. They just can't do it. Their tricks are not even enough to become a situational role player.
@@raul5081 plus in a real pro game you will have at least 3 other defenders supporting the one that's going one-to-one on you and almost certainly someone behind him. By the time you do these tricks, you would have lost the ball 3 times, also given that defenders do not tend to play so "clean" like in this demonstration. At minimum, they would be pushing your shoulder all the time.
These guys have no chance at all even by virtue of their size
The difference is first of all physical than technical. Maybe the guys would be more effective in a 5-a side pitch
💪 Proof that you can be very good at doing tricks and leave people on the street standing, but being a professional player is on another level!
La prueba de que puedes ser muy bueno haciendo firuletes y dejar parada a gente de la calle pero un jugador profesional es otro nivel!
The state of the pitch did these guys no favours at all. Love your videos, I religiously watch every single one, but do not think Mr Bakker was the most enthusiastic participant you've had so far haha
that guy the messi of bergamo with a clean and atthletic phisique he can make it pro
His feed were unreal. Bekker didn’t defend his feed but his run. For other players he defended the feed because he could read them easily.
Keep doing these videos so great! Would love also to see pro strikers against amateur defenders!
I would love to see yamal on this channel
YES
Lamine Yamal please!!
And guler
Guy is a brick wall. And he's also an exceptional athlete, so when the guys think theyve beat him, his positioning, explosiveness, and speed to recover completely catches them off guard
Professionals don't botter themselves. They see an opportunity, they rush straight to the point. Amateurs keep betting about the bush.
Your passion for football is infectious. You're the new best football channel 😁
Think this was the perfect player for a challenge like this.
This guy came from the Ajax Academy youth.
The best of the best, all with street attitude and lots of smack talk.
a challenge like this isn't even pressure for him after all those years.
congratulations to bakker, i always thought that freestylers could also make fun of serie a defenders but i was absolutely proven wrong, thanks for the video!
21:04 the way he exploded with 2nd touch is insane. So explosive. Thats what other players lacked. They do a lot of mumbo jumbo but not committing 100% to one side and explode.
4:55 these 2 speaking English to each other is just the best. 🤣👍
Some of the amateurs actually has very good footwork and at amateur level they would be crushing defenders. Just goes to show how tough it is to become a pro footballer.
at my school we had a pro at a charity tournament. First day all the classes and their teachers played against each other. second day the strongest class played vs the worst class, but they got the pro player in addition. it was insane, he wasnt even in a top club and we had a few decent youth/amateur players, who where playing in lower leagues for money already (germany).
we had no chance :D dude took over the game singlehandedly and destroyed us :D
which class the pro or worst one
It is all about levels of fitness.A Fitness Gap creates a Gap in the speed with which you change direction and accelerate. That is key. The other extremely important factor they all lack is the shooting quality. No faints at shooting the ball. So all rhe defender needs is patience.
Look how he conserves his energy to the right moment. Pro
Bakker is not only incredibly strength and skilled as a defender but is also really smart to predict movement.
Thank you for the video! Love those sangalo kits!
Next : Premier league attacker vs amateur Defender , Mitoma would be great
Pro play moves efficiently.
Both when defending and attacking.
It's amazing to see the difference
Very interesting and informative video. Thank you Mitchel Bakker ! You had pretty nothing to win and everything to lose. You definitely have balls !
this humbled me i never rated bakker before ,goes to show us fans shuldnt try to judge managers line ups or tactitcs ...
i’ve always thought that freestylers are only freestylers because they can’t be footballers. i guess this just confirmed it. that was fun to watch.
I haven't seen the video yet, but in these 1vs1 scenarios you never take into account the multiple passing lanes you have to defend or antecipate and it's easier for the defender because there is only 1 threat
sure, but then you will have to take into account also the other defenders doubling and tripling on you and cutting lines of advance
the first guy to get past the def should be scouted
When attacking, Bakker just looked at his opponent’s balance and went by him at the first sign of weakness. Didn’t overcomplicate!
Imagine a 1 v 1 tournament with this type of format with only Pros
Nice challenge ! Appreciate you guys do the UBF 1v1 !!! But you guys don't take the real guy for that challenge .... you know it !! Ahahah
We will bring the 🐐 one day... 👀😉
Very entertaining. Tq. It's all about the entertainment value folks. ❤️
Exactly, his acceleration are insane
Jivan is talented, hes even built like Maradona.
its crazy the strenght and the reaction that bakker have you do him a nutmeg and reacts at the moment and win
This just to prove the massive difference between a professional footballer, even an old one, against the top pub players...
The Aura of a Pro player is just different.
How often would one of Bakkar's Serie A teammates beat him in this drill? Probably not a ton. Props to these guys for giving it a strong go.
Man I remember him at Leverkusen and I thought he was an average Bundesliga player but damn he is an absolute beast compared to a pretty good amateur player!
Mitch is Amazing! 💯
The short guy with yellow jersey is easily my favorite. Could've won if he just shot after that missed tackle. Too focused on dribbling but he's a natural.
To beat a good defender you can’t do all of those moves. You need to go at him with speed, pick which direction you’re going diagonally left or right ONCE, and get the shot off.
U need the body to doing a shoulder to shoulder with that guy. He can easily win phisically against a normal body
The way the pro score was too easy for him 😅
Difference between pro and amateur is consistency in doing the same thing
Bakker ha giocato così tanto all'Atalanta che per giocare un po' ha dovuto fare un video con te ahahahaha
Some of them would pass him but they were scared and slowed down. In a 1vs1 situation you need to go as fast as possible, 1-2 balance is enough, you don’t need to do difficult skills, because a good defender focuses only on the ball, he isn’t even looking on the legs.
Love the fact that you are wearing the Zoman team jersey from Ivory Coast.
That defender is a wall, and he is going easy on them 😂
Now i want to see other tournament like Bundesliga, Ligue1 and Saudi Pro League xD
Big difference between freestyling and proper football. Decent defending, but his strength was key, imo
Great idea and content, but would love to see semi-pro players instead of freestylers
Well done lads.....I find 1v1 as an attacker at any level is difficult
Good job guys you made these kids very happy...
The main difference is saw between the amateur and pro is that the pro did more body feints and the amateurs just weren’t fast enough to get away from the defender to sad 😢
There's jugglers and there's players, two different worlds.
1:20 Nice to see Arjen Robben plays in Italy now
A pro defender is a better dribbler than most amateur forwards.
Love him on and off the field
Insane talent especially bergamo messi but against pro footballer they are nothing
😅
Pensare che Bakker sia un gran difensore ce ne vuole eh 😂
Looks really easy for the pro. Class is obvious
This channel is the best Football love chamnel
love these videos!
We must say that attacking is more difficult than defending especially in a 1v1 static situation
You should do premier league defender vs England freestyle champion and get Virgil
Stallion Laguna jersey sighting! So random to see a Filipino team in your videos featured lol
Bro Vlad is a machine, guy is looking like captain America
You had that guy picked way before you went to the game. Nice tactics though to make it look like you only just found him👌
now, Bekker face to face vs Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo, Bellingham in UEFA Super cup final 😎
tbh as an italian myself tha "first player" is like the "basic standarts" for football skills in Italia
I don't have the skill to get past him, but theoretically what I would have done to have the best chance and what I'd advise the next partecipants to do is to just ran at high speed to the defender and then do one/2 changes of directions but not more, and try to get him planted on one side. If you try to do that with skills at slow pace it's not gonna happen, or am I wrong?
you’re right though, running at high speed triggers defensive mechanism thus higher chance that the defender will commit
True bro im defence life turkey
You would try to outpace a pro? Good luck.
You guys should do an episode but go look for amateur footballers in brazil or mexico
Speaking english in Italy makes me realize how no American speaks Italian here 😂
First italian ive seen without the defender citizenship that all italians have lol
Good experiment, pro freestylers have not chance VS pro football 11 defender.... But Next time i want watch pro groundmover VS pro football 11 Battle
The professional had to play against 6 players no rest and it was still hard to pass him.
Hi shoot for love, what up, I just wanted to tell y ‘all that I met Zico June 26 2024 and maybe you guys can interview him
When I play football, I easily outpace everything and everyone on the field including the ball itself
Enjoying the content, thank you!
Bakker is for sure a good player, but is not a top player. He is stunning so immagine how good could be a top. It’s crazy 🤯
the white shirt is class
