@@Jawnsteph if you buy a cheap ac refill from advance auto or AutoZone, and you hook it up and the needle goes straight to red, then your compressors out. Also your AC has to be on the coldest wit the fan all the way up too.

are you sure it's not the AC compressor? Mine only blew hot air, even after I refilled it. It turned out to be the compressor so I replaced it. Total cost for the part and the labor was $556 which obviously might be different for you
