There needs to be a Grim Reaper documentary. It would help Steve and perhaps get them a tour here in the States. Lost a leg and still giving it his all. That's the metal mindset for sure! I hope I get to see these guys.
His voice is very underrated.....I hope they do that docu about him and grim ....specially I love onslaugh when they got together for tgat awsome commercial album 1989 in search of sanity....welcome to dying is one of my top 3 ballads ever..
The fact Steve is soldiering through despite life kicking him in the ass says a lot about his courage, determination and perseverance. Godspeed, Steve.
Respect ! A fan since 1983/1984, can´t remember. Six months after got nearly eaten by a deadly virus, he is out there performing for us ! Take care, can´t wait for the next album. Never give up, indeed !!!
Grim reaper is so underrated, I been listening to them since the 70,s and still do, hes still screaming metal every week, plus his brother passed away, lucky we still have him around,
Despite what Steve had been through just 6 months before this,he sounds exactly the same as he did in 1985 when this amazing album was released.Amazing! What a sensational voice!
Peter Finnigan I like Steve but in no way does he sound the same as he did in 1985. Go listen to a recording from 1985. Then you can come back and delete your comment.
That sound engineer in charge of Steve’s vocal should have been drawn and quartered that day right after Steve got off the stage. The man battled through and still sounded good singing totally dry. I met Steve in August 2019 in a small club outside NYC and he is a very upbeat positive and pleasant guy. Much respect for him always.
Still have that amazing voice.....long live steve....very very underrated vocals....is all about rob and dio....dont forget about this amazing guy....one o the best live shows I ever seen.....plus I saw him when he got together with onslaugh on 89....
2020......SIMPLEMENTE...UNA MUESTRA DE LO QUE ES AMAR EL METAL...A PESAR DE TODO....MI GRAN RESPETO Y ADMIRACION....LARGA VIDA GRIM RIPER....LARGA VIDA AL METAL....
Wow, this is fucking awesome! This is literally ROCKING TO DEATH! I got fucking goosebumps, looking at Steve Grimmet struggling to walk with a fucking stick and still rocking the shit out of the world! Love that fucking guy.
Steve was always so blessed with these obvious gifts!! I was always torn between Steve, Geoff Tate of old, Michael Sweet and Tony Harnell and Brad Delp. Thank you very much for posting!!!
He can still kick ass. Even missing a leg. He can take his place with Rick Allen and Tony iommi. The brotherhood of rockers with missing parts that kick ass regardless
Man!!! What is there to be said? You have got to hand it to Steve, and company, for doing the right thing. I can only hope to be able to replicate a mediocre modicum of this in my own life. Great job guy's
Drummers having a good F*****G time with that big smile on his face and who wouldn't with this kickAZZ band from my youth of 18 yrs of age back then. RIP STEVE WITH UR AMAZING VOICE AND UR METAL LEG FROM A TRU METAL BAND!! AWESOME!! WISH BOWCOTT WAS THERE BUT STILL KICKAZZ!!
