I hear you on the skidloader. We used 953s and backhoes to grade and spread topsoil around houses, then the tracked skids came about and saved so much time on the cleanup work.
@@fulltiltgrading8366 By learning the harder methods, you learn tricks for how to work with the right tools. Just look at how you took a scoop out before you pushed your stone with the blade. Most people wouldnt think that way. Dad taught me how to run hilift, barely anyone knows how to operate those anymore. Always need to think 4-5 moves ahead. Thanks for the video, I use to work cell sites too, but on the radio and equipment end (fill in job at the time) really brings back memories.
Ed, you and Ray get the most scenic job sites! And, this one isn’t an obstacle course at the outset. You are as far behind on your videos as I am… LOL It was great to hear from you again. Say, “Hey!” To Brandon the next time you talk to him. See ya, Bud!
Dave, this is the nicest site we could ever hope for! Yeah we really got behind. We have had a lot of changes in our schedule due to not being able to get materials but somehow it has made us even busier witch has pushed TH-cam to the back burner 😂 Hope all is well 👍🏻
Good to see you guys back.
We appreciate you watching Roy. Thanks 👍🏻
Excellent video, Ed!
Thanks. Appreciate you watching 👍🏻

Yeah I don’t know how we used to work without them!

@@robbarron5690 That’s the same way my dad taught me. Always thinking ahead and making the least amount of moves. Appreciate you watching Rob.

Ed, you run backhoe controls?
I used to. I learned when I was 3 and just switched in 2018.
What happened to Brandon. He went on to bigger and better things.
He was always a sub contractor to me and now he is doing a lot of his own work. We still talk daily and work together on occasion.
