    Hi Dr Hasbullah! I have 2 questions:
    1. Are the concepts taught here applicable for axial pumps as well?
    2. Is beta (Blade angle) always taken to be relative to the direction of the impeller velocity, and do we take the obtuse angle or the acute angle?

    Water enters with velocity v is called absolute velocity. You say that as relative velocity
