Chinese renewables ‘garbage’ being ‘dumped’ onto Australian farmers

  • Geologist Ian Plimer says farmers have “every reason to object” as they are being “treated dreadfully” by the Albanese government.
    Mr Plimer’s comments come after reports of the Labor government preparing to build Australia’s largest solar farm in Victoria’s famous Heathcote wine region.
    “They are having cheap Chinese panels just dumped on them,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
    “Why should we take someone else’s garbage, owned by a foreign company, to actually destroy some of our prime land?
    “High-value agricultural land is actually turned into something worthless.”

      No, they can't because then they will have to rip up the land to install the power lines so that the energy produced by the solar panels can be transferred to the grids in the city, etc...
      many myths have been perpetuated in selling everyone on this "no-cost" renewable energy transition.

    A Chinese solar company in China, which also happens to be the largest company in the world is in serious trouble. They had a fall of its net income of 44% in the third quarter of 2023. It has been suggested that they will be forced to lay off 30% of them employees. The company's shares have fallen about 70% from their peak in 2021. @MrMcawesomeface 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Look at what happened in Texas, with the large solar farm, after a hail storm all these panels were destroyed and toxins leaking into the soil. Its by design, they are making the land toxic, to destroy people and their futures. This is by design, the fight of good and evil is upon us.

      Solar panels don't last that long. All current solar panels are only estimated to last that long, it's an estimation based on no data.when Australia started putting solar panels on homes originally the panel manufacturers said the same things they are now, not a single one of those panels lasted more than 10 years

      And absolutely no one talks about the massive infrastructure needed to connect the solar farm. Power lines, DC to AC converters, regulation, heat control, ... In my case that was way more expensive than the panels.

    • @bikingcat3283
      @bikingcat3283 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RS-ls7mm Absolutely, expensive vulnerable equipment.
      DC is actually more efficient at transmission. The drawbacks as you know are changing voltage and galvanic damage at junction points of dissimilar conductors. They have got the efficiency of voltage and AC working well, but it only makes sense in 500MW , 500 mile interconnects.
      Also everybody that wants to save the planet from CO2 wants to do it for a profit. Lots of cheaper, less toxic batteries are held under patents. Anything sold with be at the highest price.
      They can steal land for CO2 why not steal the patents; cause it is all a scam.
