NOLA is my hometown I used to live in Terrytown/Gretna area but never had this spot tho. Definitely going when I get Home. Enjoy your Stay🎉

Something similar happened to my family in 2004 in New Orleans. We were riding around one night andy brother saw a huge sign that advertised 50 pieces of chicken for 19.99. We were like 'Who in their right mind is buying that? 50 pieces of chicken for 20 dollars. He went on brought it and left the chicken in the car to go buy hot sauce😅. That chicken started smelling good and we couldn't resist. That was some of the best chicken!

JL, I grew up in N'awlins and moved away for work 23 years ago. You could easily visit a different "place that sells food" every day for 4 years and not visit every place. The food is great every place. If it isn't, it doesn't last. Too many choices. I saw your other vids from New Orleans...Parkway and Mr. B's were excellent choices and you ordered well. When I left the only "cuisine" that we didn't have great choices were Tex-Mex and Barbecue but I understand that has changed big time in the last 23 years. The old saying in New Orleans is, "do you know what it means to miss New Orleans". New Orleans certainly has its warts, but the people are great and the food is outstanding. Glad you enjoyed your visit!

New Orleans has some incredible hole in the wall spots. Securely stop at a gas station in some of the neighborhoods if you want the best PoBoys! Got that tip from the trolly driver a few years ago. Lol

Oh Mr.Jupiter you definitely came to the right place. New Orleans is full of mom and pop businesses that would knock your socks off that's just one of many in the area. FYI totally avoid all the tourist traps especially downtown since Katrina we've lost a lot of good food spots downtown and in the French Quarter so it's not the same you have to go outside of the main areas for a taste of real New Orleans Creole food. 504 in da' house!!!🎉
Triangle Deli was one of the spots I got hooked on when I visited. There was another spot by the French Quarter. They had a spot in a corner store. That was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. My friend I was visiting laughed at me because I went almost every night.
I liked Triangle Deli too.
Another local thing that is not found anywhere else is Ya Ka Mein aka old sober, you will love that ish.

@@JLJupiterTV trust me you will love it. Parkway Bakery & Tavern. Get the James Brown, Shrimp Po Boy or Famous Roast Beef Po Boy. And try there Chicken and Sausage Jambalya. And dessert try there Bread Pudding w/ white rum sauce delicious. And if you go to Neyows Try there Charboiled Oysters w/garlic herb butter and parmesan cheese. And try their fried pork chops, carrot suffle and cornbread dressing. And try their fried chicken with red beans and rice. Both of these locations are a must must must go too without a doubt.

Usually down here we season our food so good you don't need hot sauce. Spicey is that and mild is mild.

You must try the Viet cajun and cajun citrus crawfish from Big EZ Seafood. I usually go to the Kenner location by the airport.
We have the same thing in camden it's technically 7 wings split in half you can definitely get 7 wings and fried rice for 13 dollars they just separate their wings from the drum
You for sure need to try Crabby Jacks for seafood poboys! Make sure you call to see if they're open before you go though lol

JL, you have venture out to New Orleans East and try Dong Phuong Restaurant and Bakery. They serve Vietnamese food and pastries. They're a staple in that community and won the James Beard Award a few years ago. Minh Canh Vietnamese Market nearby has amazing Banh Mi sandwiches from a family that used to sell it from out of their house!
