I really like this explanation. I have always hated the idea of getting "rich" and showing off my money by buying luxury cars and mansions. It's just something I'm not interested in. Best case scenario: I become wealthy in secret and continue living my life the same, from the outside perspective.

Well said, omens and signs tell more than and precisely correct than what could be interpreted through charts. Omens told by yesteryear's golden olden people. some of them that I heard are : Smell is like kasthuri or faint nice fragrance emanating from the body, shining glowing face, roundish little broad at the base (not bridge) nose with a shining tip, a raised forehead, no gaps between fingers especially toes, low noise while walking (flat feet - Lakshmi is associated with gentle silent walk), gap in front two teeth only and other teeth tight together. I remember in one of your videos you said that navamsa chart starts to play a major role after the age of 36. Does having Rahu in 8th house in D9 signify that sudden events, transformation, secrets start amplifying in life of such a native after the age of 36? I also find that Rahu in 8th gives anger after years of being calm and having a very soft spoken personality. I have this placement in Navamsa in sign of Scorpio (Aries Ascendant). I am currently running Ketu mahadasha. Ketu-Saturn to be precise. While I agree about the phobias, there is more to it if we consider dasha of Ketu. In Ketu dasha, some of these phobias, fears or risks materialise. I am speaking from experience. One of the phobias is loss of wealth and lineage. That has happened with me in this Dasha. Of course it doesn't help that dispositor, Mars is debilitated in Cancer.

oh dude i'm not afraid of the dark, but i do get chills around deep water. there was a video game i played years ago as a kid where you went in a submarine searching for shipwrecks and i loved the game for the adrenaline but it scared the shit out of me; it was just so eerie. i guess it's a fear of the unknown, of what might jump out at me. if i'm familiar with a dark place then i'm totally fine, but if it's unfamiliar then i'm taking it reeeeally slow. also the lake i swim in, i don't like to go too far out because the water gets dark very quickly and there is seaweed and random fish...i don't like my legs dangling. however if i have a mask and snorkel i'll dive down no problem. in fact i made money once diving down to recover a guy's glasses that fell into the deep lol. i have moon, mars, rahu in 8th. man that is so true as well, i just want a big chunk of money to discover me. a slow drip of income is just painful.

I think Saturn goes here when life still doesn’t calm down for the native during second half but doesn’t cause native to gain more than ancestral descendent as Rahu in the 8th in d9 denotes elevation over previous generation, Saturn i think denotes that it would be difficult to see such a rise. I feel that this may be true for Sagittarius ascendents (d9) especially as they have duplicate life patterns from first then to second half of life. So if Rahu was in 8th in d1 and someone has a vargottima asc or just a sag ascendent in d9 . It may cause you to see Saturn and Rahu in the 8th.
