Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese male volleyball player.
Nishida currently plays for JTEKT Stings, a volleyball club based in Kariya, Aichi, Japan. He made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League (Japan) on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakail. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6 [1] as well as Japan men's national volleyball team.
He is one of the youngest players in the 2018 roster of the Japan men's national volleyball team and FIVB cup Final.[2] He made his first international performance with the Japanese national team in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. In June 2018, he played a pivotal role in securing Japan's first win in 11 years against Italy where he collected 24 points from 21 spikes and 3 aces.[3] In September 2018, in a match against Argentina in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, Nishida became the youngest player ever to score 30 points in a match.[4] In June 2019, Nishida broke serving records in the VNL history after hitting 7 aces in a single game during a match against Bulgaria.

7:44 Kageyama and Hinata
Haikyuu fan :>
Haikyuu
haikyuu hinata in the future.
You are so damn right
Это аниме так сильно подняло популярность волейболу)
This guy has the power of anime on his side.
yes
True
That s true
He's hinata but on the real life
Hes real name is USHIWAKA USHIJIMA
He’s only 20 years old right, imagine him in 5 years, Japans Volleyball Olympic team looking very very promising!
If he's not injured, the way he landed with one leg after jump, really rough
@@wongwkwkland2050 That's right. Preventive and sports medicine has advanced so much though 🙏
buscadordeososmex If I recall medicine isn’t allowed when it comes to Olympics. But his overall play its usually a sort that your body gets used to the landing of your weight, one day he might push his body to the limit yeah but for now he seems like he knows what he’s doing
He should always rest his knees sometimes. Alot of Nba players lose their career because of mostly knee or leg injuries. Not only in basketball but in other sports aswell
I think this is his time...if he gets old u never know he might loose that jump
when you watched too much Haikyuu!!
Half of the people who is watching this is a haikyuu fan 😂 me too though
Yep
Same here haha
Same here
Same 😂
haikyuu fans this is literally ushijima he’s even left handed
Nishida Yuji is 186cm while Ushijima Wakatoshi in Haikyu is 189.5 cm
@Singsing Number 2 Fans nishida is 186
Singsing Number 2 Fans black hair, left handed, tall, good at serving
@@ld583 nishida isnt considered tall he is only 186cm
Is anyone else concerned how they know nishidas height.
The cosplay going a little too far here isn’t it
That's our Hinata!
Sam Sui he is basically a combination of Hinata and Ushijima (hence the serves and he’s left-handed) and I don’t think there’s anything more powerful than that ngl
Irl ushijima
The real Hinata
It’s Hoshiumi
What are the odds?
Yuji Nishida: left handed, hitter, ace, 19 years old, killer jump serve
Ushijima: left handed, hitter, ace, 17 years old, killer jump serve
@@Golden-rb8es he's 6' something tho
Never tell me the odd
Because ushijima is based on him lmao that is the point
Isnt ushijima like 19 yO or something
Wasn't Ushijima based off of Nishida?
Me: **searches haikyuu once**
TH-cam: yes u like volleyball I see

Same here😂
😭😭
🙋♀️
Fr
Imagine being 6 foot 2 and having the vertical jump of Hinata Shoyo
A dude who is 5'4
hoshimui*
Just sayin but hinata is better than hoshiumi later in the manga
Christopher Williams i can disagree hinatas jump serve is still shaky hoshimui has his perfected they jump the same hoshiumi has better received yet i will say hinata catching up
That’s just jump serve. He can jump higher than hoshiumi. Kageyama even stated that. He can receive better than hoshiumi and lots more. I don’t think he is catching up like you say. Besides how do you know if his server is shaky or not?
i cant believe we are the same age... bruh he makes me question my entire existence
its sad life for everyone
March to ur own drum bro, no ones journey in life is the same 😊some get places earlier than others, but not without hard work ya know hahahaha
@@shoyo1462 thank you
people also say he started volleyball at 17..
Same
Not enough credit for Masahiro Sekita's ability to set from anywhere he wants.
buscadordeososmex the one issue is that the Japanese team lacks strong blockers, especially sekita
@@ethanchurch5263 I know 😑
Ethan Church I don’t know much but u right it looks like the back row just is expected to dig the soft blocks or the non existent blocks
The libero is pretty good too. He has a great resolve and amazing reflexes.
@Joe Niven bukkakeyama
Why is no one talking about their Libero? He’s so good at receiving and he has sharp eyes 😭❤️
th-cam.com/video/8atBh6_QU5I/w-d-xo.html
Absolutely, he is amazing. I mean he gets like every single ball no matter how hard to catch
YEAA
Nobody:
Haikyuu fans: haikyuu created volleyball.
Edit: This aged well....
Samir Mishra well...no one does that
@@diivo6809 Non-haikyuu watchers does that.
Well it definitely boosted all kinds of volleyball videos on youtube. Probably gained more fans and love for the sport because of the anime. I know i am one.
@@sufipunk18 same for me! I started playing volleyball due to haikyuu.
Haikyuu means volleyball in Japanese. Oof
0:40 This looks like Nekoma vs Karasuno 👀
TRASH CAN BATTLE BABYYY!!!
@@tuliipbiswas isn’t it called the dumpster showdown? DUMPSTER SHOWDOWN BABYY!! 😂
1:45 i love that camera angle so much! it shows how intense his topspin is and how fast that curveball goes wow no wonder hes the best server in the world right now
You sure he's the best server
@Waves you might want to see his 5 aces again canada . its amazing !
If hinata’s and Ushijima’s abilities were combined
Bruno Lara read the manga bruv, he ain’t got that power that Ushijima got and probably never will but Hinata becomes even more of a monster
u forgot about owikawa...
@@brunolara2293 yeah, hinata stronger than Ushiwaka as player
@@agentOFshield616 No, Ushijima is superior in strength over Hinata
@@mfairuzsaleh9019 hinata impact > Ushiwaka impact and its a fact
read manga
gravy with spaghetti is pretty good
nah number 5 and a kommedai jersey
He's more like Ushijima he's even left handed and is basically his height
00 nah more like the tiny giant
holy sh¡t i did not know that i got 400 likes dayum thx
@@Donovanyesyeysysyeyes he can't be tiny giant, he's 186cm high lmao
Literally the cheer I hear is USHIJIMA LMAOO but DAMN HE IS HELLA COOL
Yeah.. because he left handed too.. lol
HELLA ahahaha

Wtf
I can't be the only one who has been recommended this bkoz i watch Haikyuu-
WELL, NO PROB, SURE I CAN SEE HOW PPL IN REAL LIFE WANT TO ACT LIKE HAIKYUU CHARACTERS😌😌
@Ariana Garcia Awwie thkss :))
Nope people in real life want work hard to achieve something in the sport they sure can take inspiration from the show but when they achieve something which these guys have should be known by there own name instead of just as a image of a fictional character because that would be disrespectful to them.
@@vineetn6059 can you just enjoy the video instead of ruining it? And if people are comparing it to Haikyuu then let it be, its not your problem.
@@ayana7536 me not enjoying it isn't your problem either if you wanna enjoy it than do and I wanna state the issue I want which obviously haikyuu fandom will ignore because common no mob wants to accept they can be doing something wrong .
And btw can haikyuu fandom enjoy the video without ruining it with its references ?
@@ayana7536 bro some of it arent even jokes anymore
Nishida is my favourite volleyball player 😁😁😁😁. The look on his face after getting a point is amazing
1:43 OMYYYY TANAKA!!!😂🤣🤣
th-cam.com/video/8atBh6_QU5I/w-d-xo.html
Is noone talking about how structured the whole Team is. I mean whenever e.g. the libero falls down the other players are covering his place and when he stands up again he covers the whole back. That's just amazing guys.😍😅😇
This is pretty cool, and how enthustiastic he is.

the smile on his face they show every few clips makes me so happy
Absolutely amazing to watch him...
I can't help but notice how he usually lands on his left leg, I am not an expert but that type of landing could cause injuries.
He reminds of 2010 Derick rose a young prospect which potential but has an injury plagued career.
I pray the same doesn't happen to him.
th-cam.com/video/8atBh6_QU5I/w-d-xo.html
Don’t worry every volleyball player does that it comes naturally with the sport, when volleyball players jump we are very cautious on how we land and the foot we land on it also helps us get the impulse to get to the position we have to be on time for the next play
The way he stoped in the air and spike is amazing!
In anime, most things are made to look way more impossible than in real life. But Haikyuu did a fantastic job of showing how intense these games actually are. The speed of the ball is unreal
My favorit player
1.Yuji Nishida
2.Saeid Marouf
So amazing ✨
Seriously Yuji Nishida gives off Bokuto vibes and I love it! I can already hear the "Hey hey hey" at 4:35
西田かっこよすぎるよ…ほんとに好き
When you find out that Haikyuu is actually realistic
It's actually more realistic than other sports anime, that some of the scenes in Haikyuu have happened in real life vball game. Well ofc, except for the crazy fast attack of the duo.
I LIKE VOLLYBALL YUJI NISHIDA
こんな優しそうな顔してんのになんでこんな強いんだろ笑

Mr. Clutch!!! Nishida Yugi is pure magic!!! 👍
The original little giant ❤️😂
He’s 6’2
Hinata after coming back from Brazil :
NG MB Don’t they wear black too? (In the match against kageyama and ushijima’s team, i forgot the name)
@@helloimme9198 Black Jackals
Nope Yuji Nishida in real life matches who shouldn't be used as a reference to some non existent person because that's disrespectful.

volleyball is so sick
I like the way he is spiking and jumping so.high ................ like my comment
Imagine playing him in high school
The best
Nishida is love
Japan is the best when it comes to this sport now i understand why the producer create haikyu i mean just look at japan playing volleyball its so so good...
Japan is amazing and very disciplined but they are not the best. That title probably belongs to Brazil. Japans defense is probably the best though. Defense as in serve reception and digging.
In the Olympic world I’d say they are like Nekoma. Except much much much better with actual attacking.
I want to play volleyball. I've been practicing spikes and recieves everyday by myself ;-;
How's it going man? Training hard?
Same, I've been practicing with a football 🤭
he is amazing, yuji has a very promising future
Can't stop thinking about the art with nishida and Hinata
