@@tonkanimation5576 absolutely. I replayed the mission several times to get exactly where the music came from. I was hyped. Did you play the third mission?
This crossover is perfection, there’s nothing bad about it, it feels like an amazing blend of both the ride and the Pirates of the Caribbean films, the music is awesome, the voice actors are great, the story is amazing, and the fights are to die for Change my mind
Seriously. This DLC was way better than anything I expected. They could have gone the easy route and just thrown together a few fetch quests and a sea battle or two, made Jack Sparrow a recurring quest-giver NPC, and called it a day. Boy was I happy to be wrong. I was not expecting this long and detailed a campaign, such immersive environments, or such a good soundtrack and voice acting. They really went above and beyond with this crossover.
I was playing the first tale yesterday and my wife happened to walk in the living room during that section. She started giggling at me and when I asked what was so funny she said "The look on your face right now is like a little kid visiting Disneyland for the first time. It's really cute."

This is actually a trick disney uses through there rides if you didnt know, which may be a big reason which is why its like this. But to enhance the ride more and give more element to it. Disney puts the same themes throughout the ride that gradually builds up to the main theme as you go through. When your in the queue for Pirates of the carribean you here a light hearted faint theme of “yoho-yoho a pirates life for me”, to build up for the main ride experience. When your in the caves in the beggining of the ride (or middle if you go to disneyland). You’ll hear a more creepy and haunting rendition of “yoho-yoho a pirates life for me” that fits the theme of the dead pirates inside the cave. Then of the course when you enter the burning city in the city you hear the full main theme with lyrics. This whole process is to build you up for finale and giv a better sense of depth for the ride. Which is why it works so well for these tall-tales
Lol I was legit listening to the 1 hour version of the ride on TH-cam while doing the 2nd Tall Tale! Didn't really notice it in the 1st one, nice spot!
This update itself is perfection but let’s take a moment to talk about music Several parts of this feel like it comes directly from the ride and several bits of music and audio were actually from the ride itself, and the fight themes, such as defending the ferry of the damned, really serve justice to fans of both sea of thieves and Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s a perfect blend of the masterful orchestra that both of these franchises represent
there's a part that plays right in one of the first caverns, when you first hear the ride voice and see the seagull in the skeleton's hat. I can't seem to find it anywhere online or in this video, is that audio file available? It sounds like very slow ambient version of the Yo Ho theme, with a little marimba or xylophone playing the melody, then sharp and echoing twangs from a flute
They did an amazing job with the score, do you happen to have the first yo ho remix? The slower one in the first part of the caves? If so, I’d love it if you uploaded it, thanks!
3:42 when i heard this i got the chills
Same
Idk I thought it sounded wonderful
It brings back so many memories of being on the ride...
Same, I’ve been in that ride about a thousand times so I recognized this instantly
They did such a great arrangement with the music! It feels like parts of the song came right from the ride too. 😁
I know, it’s a perfect blend of the movies and the ride
Ha I said that too!
Cause they used some stuff from the ride
@@tonkanimation5576 absolutely. I replayed the mission several times to get exactly where the music came from. I was hyped. Did you play the third mission?
I was just at Disney World recently and I can confirm that the ghost singing and much of the background music is the same exact audio from the ride.

14:18 ... My god, such an incredible intro piece, sounds perfectly as epic as it is whimsical. Gave me chills
10:31 Good to here from you again, Guybrush. Even if it is indirectly.
this part made me sad
Now you can hear from him directly
Ahh, monkey island music, gives a nostalgic feel
After the last Tall Tale when Jack left again i felt so sad. I just wanted to follow him and play more of this amazing content!
sailor's grave is one of my favorite locations in the game now.
9:15 is my absolute fave!
Yeah! Love how it sounds both otherwordly / melancholic and cozy.

What a fantastic piece
They did such a good job recreating the ride! They really brought my childhood back

HOW AWSOME IS THAT :DDDDDDDD
The memories :D
Its really cool activating the checkpoint at every start to get a nice ambient music while stocking up
I didn't know they used a monkey island song in this update!!
Yeah! There’s a whole Easter egg on it in the first tall tale
What’s Monkey Island?

Through the Grottos bit made me think of the Jungle Book for some reason lol
Both were made by Disney and both have a jungle feel to them, I don’t blame ya

i believe that's music from the maiden voyage tall tale, when you sail into the sea of thieves

Really it's been ages since i had my maiden Voyage...back in the day when the game launched xD
All i know is that i love the track.
A New Dawn
Could you put time stamps?
Just did!
Where is tortuga
Question is , is this cannon for both worlds
disneyland music
Try to enjoy it but instantly kills the feeling when other players come and sink you
The headless monkey song feels out of place for me
It's from the Monkey Island games.
Just a question does anyone happen to know what song plays after the battle with the Flying dutchman? where you sail back home?
It’s called “A New Dawn”! It plays at the end of the Maiden Voyage as well!
