This is brilliant. As an Aussie, we just get UK sarcasm, we’re the same. It’s hilarious watching Americans wondering if they should be offended or not lol.
This was like being back in the Mess on a late night bender listening to your favourite spec-aircrew pilot hold court with all his war stories. Love this Tim, hearing you let your hair down which is such a nice change given the serious shit our beloved country is descending into that you try to help us make sense of with your day job.
I'm one of the US Army folks that Tim called proper lads, I speak a bit of aviator and a bit of the kings , I can can tell what Tim's on about decently easy. Great show chaps!
Tim, I was so pleased to see you and the guys together. I'd hoped it would happen someday. You were clearly thriving from the conversation. The standup comedian in you clearly comes out after midnight.
OMG....Tim DAVIES is an absolute Legend!! I've rewatched this video so.many times....he's absolutely hilarious 🤣..would love to have a few beers with him. He's a great story teller 👌👌
Oh well, I've seen this once but spent half of it in tears laughing. I might learn a lot watching it again. I love the Mover and Gonky show, but you absolutely levelled it up.
Hello to you all. Thx for all of you in regards of your context. My name is John. I'm an Ex Pat from Stanmore. I joined the USAF at 17 as an aircraft mechanic. F5E 75-0612 I'm now 61 working for American Airlines. I just want to tell you all thank you. The fact that you address not only the great parts of aviation but he human side makes me continue to encourage others to go to all your sights.
@johneveridge3714 Similar story for me . I came here from Derbyshire in 73 , Served 24 years in the USAF and Army . Tim was a great guest . Fun to see the Brit humor thrust upon those two .
Tim is a brilliant international advert of everything that's great about us Brits. Just want to see a 4 way with Mover, Donkey, Tim and WOMBAT. WOMBAT, for those that don't know him, is the American version of Tim
As an ex RN Submariner Engineer, I only understood some of this but it was very entertaining in relation to my experience of MOD and Admiralty practices. I luckily completed my 40 years service before the advent of women at sea on submarines, mixing with weaponeers was bad enough ! Great forces banter. Love the burpees in the rain, is it better in a Waitrose car park ? Let’s keep Britain great. Regards AJ
I watched this interview on movers channel the other day it was absolutely brilliant and insanely funny , great work Tim showing the true humourous nature of us Brits . Everything i love about watching you and your videos was there , funny, educational, serious , sharp, chaotic, more funny . Proper Laaaad ! . Sublime watch thank you so much .....😂😂
We love Tim :-) Follow him & in UK, Straight talking, clever guy and sooooo funny! Might have failed his A levels but quicker than most, Great to see him on M&G, thanks both x
In the past three years it been hyper serious everywhere, doom, gloom and grim statements and news. So thanks to Tim, Move rand Gonky making his such an entertaining and enjoyable video.
An amazing episode… this is pure gold! So much fun and so many great topics and thoughts. 2 minutes in on the “Mover” channel I clicked subscribe to yours!!! Fantastic!!
omg I love mover and gonky, it's crazy to see them talking with tim, as i enjoy his appearances on the lotus eaters podcasts. Bringing together 2 very different worlds and i'm here for it.
Hi Tim, been using your video on the Manchester Airport attack on the police to open the eyes of those who consume mainstream media. Spend too much time doing stuff like that and at times it seems pointless, but laughter is a great energiser and I certainly needed the therapy you and the guys just provided. Much appreciated from north of the border.
Cheers gents, a fabulous way to end a hard week at work listening to the master race (Tim you know what I mean) chat about a whole host of subjects which all have resonating meaning. Keep strong guys and please do this again. From an Ex RAF Engineer
I'm only 10 minutes in and this is such a fantastic interview already. I'll have to bookmark it for later. I've been following Mover/Gonky for about the same time I've been following you and it's great to see you sharing the screen with them. You really need to go BFM (in DCS - but I just heard that Mover isn't doing DCS anymore) with them. I'd love to see that! What I will say is, in these 10 minutes, I learned more about you (Tim) than I did since I started following you, i.e., ATC (me too - I was in 1128 Crosby Squadron), why you switched from the RN to RAF. I wanted to join the RN to fly Harriers after I graduated (in 1994). What put me off was, in 1992, I lived with two girls; Rachel and Caroline. Rachel's boyfriend graduated one year earlier and went in for Navy Officer recruitment and he was telling me everything they had to do in the entrance exam - and I figured, there's no way I'm getting through this, so I didn't bother trying. I have an allergy to failure and if I know for sure it's something I can't succeed in, I won't bother trying. BTW, Tim, if you haven't already, have a read of the comments on Mover/Gonky's channel. Their viewers are heaping praise on you (and quite rightly so) - th-cam.com/video/7VA6rkSwej8/w-d-xo.html
@@robd2184 I work on the principal of knowing what I can do and what I can't. Besides, I do have flying experience (in General Aviation). I was referring to joining the military. BTW, it's "you're" not "your". With your grammar, you're never going to be a school teacher.
@@abdulmismail . I can’t be bothered to correct autocorrect . I don’t want to be a school teacher , being a pilot is more fun . I’d hope any school teacher doesn’t encourage kids to not try for things in case they fail .
There was a Tornado GR1 TV movie back in the 90s, Tim don't know if you remember it, the pilot was having some issues at home and slammed it into a hillside
For the benefit of everyone’s mental health this has to become a regular feature 😂
Most genuinely human conversation I've seen on You Tube in the past fortnight
This is brilliant. As an Aussie, we just get UK sarcasm, we’re the same. It’s hilarious watching Americans wondering if they should be offended or not lol.
Same man it’s refreshing to hear on this channel. Dudes got jokes
They don't get banter at all, Although the Aussies and the Brits take it to a whole different level.
I watched this last night on Mover's channel. At first I was a little surprised to see Tim on there. He has to be the best guest they've had.
Tim, that was a cracking podcast mate, superb. The banter was awesome. 🫡
Love some good Shanter lol

You can tell that Tim was the squadrons court jester. Quick wit , endless jokes, politically incorrect, never afraid to call a spade a spade.
Jesus - You smashed that one out the park Tim! Great to see and what a great ambassador for UK Military aviation.
Rarely I stick with a 2hr podcast start to finish enjoying every minute
I'm one of the US Army folks that Tim called proper lads, I speak a bit of aviator and a bit of the kings , I can can tell what Tim's on about decently easy. Great show chaps!
Tim Davies: someone who makes me proud to be British. 🇬🇧
Retired RAF pilot instructs brother officers from the USAF & US Navy. Superlative banter! 🤣😅😂
these 3 guys have hit the right formula, they work so well together, more please.
Tim is hilarious, way to steal the show! Would love to see him on again.
Gonky’s goofy laugh is just the best. Great show all.

One of the best interviews on youtube, absolutely superb!!!

That was a great show on Monday . I watch those guys every week but this was the best show ever . Tim is like the Ricky Gervais of aviation .

The best RAF movie and best flying movie is Battle Britain along with Top Gun ❤

This was a great release for Tim, it may have been 0100 in England and a cuppa , but he looked relaxed and enjoying himself.

Sounds like the Tornado was a Mosquito on steroids...Awesome stuff
Im a Brit.
My uncle left the RAF ... English Electric QRA pilot ... Became a plumber.
He now has Alzheimers and barely knows his own family.

If I were a Jag Mate...I will let Tim finish the verse. Thanks for the great podcast!
