Hi Hector, thank you for this video - you are an amazing teacher! Is there anyway to pull in the same period for the prior year on the budget vs. actual report? For example, the columns would be this year's budget vs. actuals with an additional column for last year's total for the same time frame. Thank you

@@amberwilson1446 budget reports are very limited, you need to pull as two separate reports

Once i have chosen "no additional criteria" ... it says a budget already exists, can i delete and start fresh as it opens up blank ready to be filled in?

Hi Hector, For the Profit and Loss Budget Performance Report, does it matter how you input the data into the budget? For example - can you put all of the budget into January or does it need to be spread over 12 months for that report to work correctly? Also, we are going to import the budget from Excel. If we do decide to put the budget all into January, will that work for an import? We would just need to put zeros for the other months? Thank you!

If a company uses QBO but also has QB enterprise for other entities can you upload the information from the entity that uses QBO to use this forecast option?

Yes, but conversions are very imperfect, I wouldn’t use this as a practice. Get a cash flow tool for QBO
