Basically if you're having problems with it, things that may help you land is (This is if you can go up grab the board and put your hand on the coping) 1. Go up straight. 2. Put your hand a little bit more away from you on the coping not too much but just don't put your hand where you went up with your board. 3. Give it a little push on your way down so you don't hangup on the coping.. Hope this will help you guys trying

@@theautisticowl7153 Never truly stalled one myself but I know many that do them really good, I think it's important to not be afraid of falling onto the deck and try that a couple of times so you know what can happen if you lose balance. Then I guess you just try and get the right amount of speed, extend your elbow all the way and let gravity do its work.

I know this comment is old but for new people watching: that’s not really a thing that happens, you don’t slip out of handplants usually. On vert you could go too fast but that’s a little different. Usually the biggest fear is hanging up when coming back in, or coming back in off balance and your board shooting out.
