I've been to that Buc ee's before, last I heard it had the World's biggest car wash.. My closest Buc ee's which is New Braunfels was the world biggest convenience store until a couple of months ago until they opened a bigger bu cees in TN.

Great video. I’m reliving my stint in Colorado. A friend made a smoker from an old military engine case and it was the best I’ve ever had. Might want to wear a helmet on that scooter! I’ve fallen off mine enough times to tell me it’s a necessity.
There is a place near me (here in Queensland, Australia) that does amazing Texas style smoked beef brisket and I agree that it is awesome food (given the choice between smoked beef brisket from this place or a good bit of steak at a comparable price point from a pub or something, I would choose the brisket every time)
Virginia native here - We went to Buccee's for the first time this summer with my wife's family from Lithuania - it was an experience! lol - Coming from florida, back to Virginia we hit the Bucee's in North Carolina, and WOW! CCCCCCCCCrazy! And to experience it with Lithuanians here for a summer holiday was even better! The looks on our faces as to how huge the palce was, but they sure were the cheapest gas around! (great food, too!!)

Hooks Airport in Tomball? 20 years ago that whole area was COUNTRY. I did a LOT of work around there. It was all country 2 lane back roads. Now its all built up with a huge freeway going right through the area. And that's about 6 miles on a scooter that Buc-cee's lol.

I believe this is how it originally was envisioned decades ago; everybody flying to their destinations more or less. There was also a youtuber who went to the Mac Donalds with his paramotor. I only miss the 'Loo Review".

Noel, I would love to see a video about your journey to getting your pilots licence. As a healthcare worker , working on the front line during covid, I realised that I didn't have any real hobbies other than cooking. It's my dream to get a PPL.

(At my flight school, there was usually a small step-ladder, a milk crate with several quarts of oil, cleaning supplies, rags, the fuel strainer and fuel tank straw, a set of chocks, a tow bar, and a host of other miscellaneous nonsense.) Also, the place where I rent doesn't allow operations on grass (or otherwise non-paved) runways. 😔 Edit: I just got to the point in the video where Noel mentions his flight school has the same rules.

Claiming they didnt do clearing turns or called clear of a runway cause they ran the audio track before exiting that they were clear and the video showed them just starting to turn off

I prefer the Cirrus, without a doubt. Actually now I can't fly the 182 for a bit either as it was just damaged in an accident (all occupants OK). So looks like I'm back in the Cirrus soon anyway.

Hello again, still going through your library and I have to say the music bed is an awful idea. Imagine having that playing when you're trying to listen to ATC while flying an RNAV. It adds nothing and just makes me want to find an alternative... But only after you get to Buc-ee's. You should get a helmet and a surfer-stance if you're going to haul-ass on that scooter. Cheers

It's not looking good. Removed from the fleet at United and on the grapevine I've heard it's not coming back. Thankfully the pilot was OK.

I just came back from Houston about two months ago, and my last destination was buc'ees I'm not gonna lie I spent about $70 dollars.

Stumbled across a Buckees by mistake near Daytona Beach to charge up a Tesla. Had no idea what it was, very odd and very American.
