@@arggyro Thanks, but don't you need the generator to charge the batteries and the diesel engines to power the generator. So, if you are at anchor, which is the time when you want silence, you would need to start the engines to power the generator to charge the batteries to power the gyro. Or have I got it wrong? If I have it correct, then there would be a fuel cost/hour to power the gyro ... Or do I have it wrong?
How much fuel is used/hour to run the gyro?
Hi John, this unit runs on 240V power. And uses 12-14 amps depending on sea state.
