I visited the Riverside Museum today and stepped aboard the Glenlee afterwards. Beautiful ship.
I have not been on it myself yet, but one day... glad you enjoyed your visit.
Great stuff! Meant to film this event from Dumbarton Castle but ill health intervened. Thanks for this.
Very enjoyable video. Nice technique.
@grianaig1 Thanks. I appreciate the feed-back
@MargaretMilne Hello Margaret, Glad you liked the video, and the fact you lived in a house named Glenlea. Brilliant!
@TallshipGlasgow Thanks for the info. It was a great sight to see. I will look you up on Facebook.
@whirlingtamthebam Thank you. It would have been a great seeing it pass Dumbarton Castle. I hope you get well soon.
@clyderigged Thanks Jamie. The Glenlee is not at her new berth yet but should be by the summer
GLENLEE is looking quite smart. I wish her well at her new berth. I enjoyed my time in Glasgow as the Master Rigger for the restoration back in 1998.
Bravo Zulu

@HeadPark That was cool. When it comes back you can have an Anniversary visit.
I have some black and white shots of her before she was restored, this programwon't allow me to add links, you tube for the Tipptoggy channel. Some of the shots are of the Cutty Sark before the fire.
@westmids11 Thanks. I took my tripod with me for this one (keep it in the car, the tripod is 35 years old now). We waited 3 hours for the ship to appear and it was past in a few minutes. The weather was lousy, raining, I had my umbrella up to protect my camera, but it was worth it. And it's OK about the Scottish thing. lol
Me and the wife tied the knot on The Glenlee - nice :)
