The pink bar is overfill, it isn't for a new rank. It's just a visual indicator of how many points you have to lose to de-rank to an A.

3:10 as you can see with the slow motion, I think the real reason it gives you 2 halves is because of the lap 2 portal, and the fact that you got to S rank with the points it gave you since S rank is also a requirement for P rank.

I believe Hardmode gives enemies the abilities they have from the scrapped Heat Meter. (Cheese Slimes can now fight back with a Baseball bat, Forknights now have a charge attack, and Swedish Monkey’s bananas now have an evil expression, etc.)
I've never seen someone go through John Gutter's 1st secret so well. Nice job, I'm gonna have to try that technique.

so in the first mod, i think john gutter was to short of a level to fill the whole bar with pink

I think this is how the better rank works:
Crust - kept beginning combo
Piece 1 - treasure got
Piece 2 - all secrets found
Piece 3 - Lap 2 started/done
Piece 4 - has enough points for S rank
Combined = p rank.
I think the 2nd to last part in the first mod is for reaching enough points for an s rank, and the last part is for lap 2, because in vanilla if the last thing you need for a p rank is lap 2 and if you get an s rank from the points it waits until the portal takes you to your location

2. Idk what version of mod you installed but i fixed this bug with control room. I will check other rooms of TCTOP for this bug.

I think that in the first mod the 3rd part was given to you because you got enough score for S rank and the second part was because you enters lap 2. This also happens in the regular game, the 3000 points are given to you when you enter the portal but it only says it’s a P rank when you exit it

9:37 i like how at lap 8, the pizza face is just the super bomb from srb2 kart, possibly a reference to it too in two ways, in srb2 kart it goes after the player in first but you can out run it the whole race (couldve served as inspiration too for pizza faces behavior), and how the devs played srb2 kart in sessions during its development
I hope there’ll be a mod where you have to beat the level you’re playing under a time limit until you destroy John
(Mabye add some bosses in the mix too!)
Fun fact:in pizzascape if you barley put one foot of peppino on the metal black then you can skip some time to get out of the room(hope this helps)

The pink bar is actually just telling you how many points you can lose until you go back to an A-rank, so since in Johnny's Guts you need about 16000 for the P-rank to count, losing that amount of points is how you go back to an A.

That pink bar in the first one probably if you lose some points in S/P rank that pink bar will decrease and if that pink bar is gone you will demoted to A rank instead
its just the extra points youve collected so far during s/p rank, so you know when youre getting demoted
pretty sure you get the circles parts for these reasons:
1. (outline) keeping a combo
2. (top left) finding every secret
3. (bottom left) getting the secret treasure
4. (bottom right) getting enough points for an S
5. (top left/the P itself) doing lap 2
warning: dont fill the pink bar while getting p rank using set_combo. what you get, is something called a stack overflow, or death I deservioli playing indefinitly.

i got an idea (that i WISH i could do but i dont know how to)
HARDMODE+
hardmode but buffed
-Enemies get stunned for way less time
-Enemies are somewhat faster
-Every enemy is now updated (some enemies dont have the hardmode)
-enemies get scared for around 0.2 seconds
-Enemies take 2 hits to kill on mach 3 (the first time they are stunned.), but on mach 4, they are instakilled.
(Being grabbed and thrown or supertaunting also instakills.) (uppercutting doesnt instakill)
-The heat meter goes up very slowly.
-The heat meter loses heat by 60% if you get damaged (And instantly goes to 0 if you lose your combo.)
-You can only get a T rank if the heat meter is full when you enter LAP 2 + a combo higher than 60. if you lose your combo then the T rank instantly downgrades to an A.
-entering a secret gives the heat meter more heat.
-The pizza time timer is replaced with the war timer.
-the war timer is VERY strict.
-If the war timer reaches 0. you instantly die.
-If you enter lap 2. the war timer refills to the same ammount as pizza time. and HARDMODE pizzaface chases you.
-HARDMODE pizzaface is just pizzaface but a bigger appearance and a slightly bigger hitbox. he also changes speed depending on the level to make all levels possible but as hard as it can be
-there's alot of unfair enemy placement and alot more enemies throughout the level.
-Theres more marble and metal bricks that block your way.
Fun fact:lap 4 is actually coneball,it's from a pizza tower fan game(sugary spire)
The second part you get once you start lap 2 is for getting a s rank since you need to have enough point for a s to get a p
There are so many lap mods at this point I had a dream where I went to school, was doing my test and got a W RANK!

in the better rank meter mod, you could have used the debug menu to get an absurd combo to boost your score to see the secret rank

I think it is possible to fill the pink bar by combining it with a mod like lap 10 (every lap after 4 grants a lot of points, like lap 5 grants 5000,lap 6 - 6000, and all the way to 10

You are right.
Missing at least one secret doesn't give you access to Secrets of the World.
You got the ranking P rank slightly wrong. You get one for getting the treasure. Another part for all secrets a third part for lap 2 and the last part for getting S rank
(Losing your combo gets rid of every part and makes it impossible to get it again / Purple ring means you still have your combo)
(( note : not exactly sure on this but the pink Bar is supposed to be an extra for other lap mods. My assumption is lap 10 aka L rank
Fun fact: in T rank animation the P rank appears before turns into a T rank

About better rank meter, you just got two parts because you got rank S after going to lap 2

to get it: you need to do a normal P rank run but you CANNOT get hit/take damage at all in the run
5:14 they give all the remaining points if you leave too early pal, dont worry about it
so for the better ranking mod there's actually a secret rank the W rank its the same thing like the p rank but you cant get hit ONCE

I filled the P rank bar to the maximum by going into ptuce (which has the better rank mod) and combining it with aslm, there isn't any rank, but filling it to the max could be considered a P+ rank if you want an extra challenge.
Im new to this channel, but I am quite interested in pt mods. I dont know if you request mods to play, but you should the the *Pizzarank V2* mod if you havent already. There is a lot to see and do, so make sure you try them all. (Also I bet you cant beat war with the mode >:]

3:08 Actually no, because the first part was given because you got S rank. And actually there should be 5 parts, first = secrets, second = secret treasure, third = S rank, fourth = lap 2, and fifth = combo.
There is. The crust around the rank is the combo. The 4 pieces are the requirements for getting the P rank, including the combo started in the first room of the level.
3:03 that does make sense but i think the reason you got 2 parts is:
1. enough score for S/P rank
2. lap 2
edit: ok i litterally saw the part like 10 seconds ahead so that makes sense but it could also possibly be this

Pretty sure that you didnt get the final piece for keeping the combo, the outline is for that. I think it was because you got the required points for the S Rank
