@@nickbecerra9360 why dont you move up a class in weight. 21lb cut is way to hard on the body if your doing this weekly. Go to the 190 + weight class. Half the cut, more energy. Take this from someone who got an eating disorder from wrestling...Don’t use laxatives or make yourself throw up...don’t overly restrict yourself for way too long. I barely eat anymore and when I do it’s only “healthy” food, if I eat food that I think is “bad” I end up making myself throw it up or use laxatives. You don’t want to end up constantly stressed about food, especially when it starts to not just be for wrestling anymore

i was literally spitting and chewing guy watching this. i have a tournament tomorrow !!!😭
Bro half these people be like “I wrestled at my natural weight”. Bro my coach will crucify me if I don’t drop the 5 pounds by next week
I spit n shit if I'm close the day of an event, last time I did it I was .05 under and I wanted to be safe and lost .7
I'm watching this video the day before my tournament, and pretty much everything he said not to do, I've already done 🤦🏽♂️.
i am sick right now i’m 128 trying to get to 113 in two weeks. i got regionals and i’m not trying to wrestle big guys. 💀
(126 isn’t big for some of y’all but i’m just short)😭
mia minus did you get to it?
al b i ended up getting a concussion so i couldn’t go to state
mia minus :( im sorry girl
Isaac hows it going bud?
Question for you is.
My son is a 120 lb JV that is weighing approx 118 and our 113 Varsity spot is open. He needs to certify at 113 Fri night. What is your advice or technique to get there?
1lkydad 75 I’m currently walking around 124 125 and I wrestle varsity 113 and I cut the weight every week by only drinking water having some type of fruit throughout the day I weigh 117 and have to be 113 for tomorrow dual and trying to sleep off some weight
@@blrrd7193 well he has a 2 hour practice tomorrow then he is hitting the stationary. He is down to eating peanuts, carrots, yogurt and minimizing water intake. Few swallows here and there. Dont want to drop alot of water weight in a short time.
1lkydad 75 Im im high school 3Awrestling at the number 21 school in the nation(Southeast Polk) He needs to manage what he eats, thats the first step. He should be drinking shit tons of water also until about 2-3 days before. Im talk like as much as possible. The day or two before he needs to start limiting what he drinks and have a good practice, he should try to get to 5-6 over the day before. Going to practice if he works hard he should lose 3-4 lbs. He will sleep off a pound if he gets a decent amount of rest. he then shluld go workout in the morning before school. depending on where he is at he may be a little under so he can drink. He will lose a little bit throughout the day and he can keep drinking water until he reaches 113.
@@NRB_75 i would not let him eat anything high in sodium. Peanuts. Yogurt. Keep to fruots and non caloric fill vegetables. Water is key, but i think a high alkaline and ph water is key. Regular water will bloat you. If you need to lose 10 lbs in a day, no water, chemical bath. It isnt meant for lazy, but short term cuts. No water, which you replenish with pedialyte. No gatorade right after weigh in. Too much sugar.
Going from 52 to 38, wish me luck
The only time i spot was because i was like a couple ounces off on the car ride to the tourney
did all this before a duel meet and made 120lbs after being 128
I cut from 130 to 106
Son that’s bad😭. I cute from152 to 140. I’m going 138 again this year
im 200 and i need to cut back to 182 cuz after the season u stuff ur mouth. but i wanna burn fat not muscle any tips?
keep a good protien intake, dont starve yourself
Honestly, I don’t even wrestle, I came here to just get tips to cut weight 😭
Bro the foam spit thing is so fucking true!!!!!!!😂😂😂🤣
I should have already lost my 3kg from eating properly but I've been eating like shit. Like damn 😭
The spitting thing is spot one I spit all the time it sucks harder than my uncle at a family game night
So I lost 25 pounds between the time of the year I started wrestling and when covid started so I gained it all back over these two years of no wrestling LOL I have been trying to cut weight for a while now that I found out that I was able to wrestle again so I've been doing a lot of the stuff but one thing I want someone to answer my question on please I've been watching some things about like things not to do and I've seen things like laxatives saunas hot tubs things like that so I just don't know
I am cutting weight for the first time and I'm only 4 pounds over. I don't know how I can lose weight effectively without killing myself.
Over the course of a week, you should be drinking at least a gallon of water a day and don’t eat too many foods high in sodium because you’ll retain water. The day before weighing in, you shouldn’t drink any water at all.
Tom Dwan wrestles? Alright!
Run , even if it’s monday !hahahahhahaha
What foods do you recommend not too eat
Video-Gamer-9000 processed foods , anything that comes in a plastic package , my coach says “if it doesn’t come from the ground or from an animal don’t eat it” that was what we ate when cutting down but you don’t really eat when cutting cuz you cut the day before but if you’re going down slowly over a week or two I would eat steamed fish , chicken breast, boiled eggs , cucumber , broccoli , stuff like that
Is it ok to do this for Normal weight loss
Not really because cutting weight like this is supposed to only for a short period of time.
Does anyone know any ways that you can lose 3-5 pounds? I have to make weight for AAU 160
I'm 165 :'(
very possible. i cut 7 pounds starting on a thursday and had a meet on saturday. and i need to cut 5 pounds from a friday to a saturday starting tmrw. i don’t eat and i run and run and run. kill it at a practice. trust me. if you practice hard at one practice it helps so much. i lost 4.6 at practice when i had to cut the 7 pounds
@@rarestlol8833 yeah it sucks it my 3rd year middle school but jeez I've been 160 in AAU For two years and this year's was the hardest to cut but now its easier because my weight stays below it because my body made that it's natural weight it took alot of extra time and practice
When I want to eat after not eating at all I eat blueberrys and I dint gain shit
nice!
Not the best list on this topic. Be selective with what you might chose on this list. Apparently hot tub thermostats don't work in his world. Use hot tubs and saunas sparingly. They aren't magic and should never be over done. Excessive use wipes you out. Extremes will kill. No joke.
I can’t wait to want to die again, I need my season now😂
i spit off 2 pounds in a day i felt fine
in august
Personally the hot tub is better for me than the bath the bath is much hotter and hurts alot more 😭
So you want us to be dehydrated?
in august i was 116 but now i am 93.6
Madison Lachney how
