Frankly I don't even know why the straw man, I am challenging your lie at timestamp 1:18 about the euphemism. You have inserted your opinion at the beginning of the stream and imposed an opinion on over 22 million plus people and want to pretend you have evidence that has nothing to do with your opinion. You also attempt to obfuscate the issues surrounding that nonsense being challenge and pretend is now pretending that there is a dichotomy between being rational and experiencing emotion. Was Jesus' assertion in Matt 21:12-13 untrue because he was experiencing an emotion? Fool others not me, I am seeing the resentment from both you and Mr Daily and violation of the 9th commandment from you.

Truth is not meant to be a threat. It is an invitation and an offer of victory. The threat is our fallen nature. God promise is an invitation and an offer to total victory. If the Holy Spirit comes to show me my true condition. It is not to condemn me. But to offer to change me. We all need to see what needs to change. I praise God when he shows me my condition. 43:50 Ford tried to do the exact same thing and change the church, but unless the writings of Ellen G White are disregarded, the church will never be reformed, it will never be revised, or put in question to be reasoned with. Just look at how Timm is tap dancing his way while defending his "prophetess". Its embarrassing. No honest Christian will look critically at her writing and objectively deal with both accusations and defenses and conclude she was a prophet of God.

@@yonasiseth2631Someone ask a good question and yes, before anyone ask yes I'm an Adventist and I wasn't always a sda. I didn't grew up in the church. But I just wish I had found this church earlier in my walk to find truth in God's word.
The sda are very nice people, I had my critics before about this church and ask a lot of why's??
I see the pattern here just like in my local church, and that's because some were not spending deep time in the word of God..Jesus is coming guys to take his bride home and I believe everyone should be ready.
But when someone ask the q what has the church done to you?
I had to comment and say something about my own experience:
      1. Members who left the church left it because they were hurt by someone in the church.
      2. Many did not experience the love from others as they should....as the bible states "to love one another❤"
      3. Others just didn't study the bible.."here a little and there a little" to understand the words God of for themself..they just relied on there own thinking of the bible and didn't ask the Holy Spirit to lead them to all truth.
      4. When I came I didn't know much about Ellen White, but I was fascinated about how she knew the word of God so well when they quoted her..one day I told a member of sda church who also was taking the same bible class... to show me this woman Ellen White, tell me where she's at so that I can go and visit her..yes I literally said that. Never knew that she died many years ago.
I saw this lack of understanding of some members in the sda of how to study her writing which was inspired by God. There is no way a child with a grade like her would know the thinks she knew and write books in health that helped many people with cancer, blood pressure, sugar problems here in my country Suriname.
Humanly is not possible unless she was inspired by God.
What I'm saying is if you study the bible you will understand her writings which simply points or magnifies the greater "light" the Word of God...I came to understand more about things like:
      -The character of God
      -How someone can be saved.
      -State of the death
I had a different view of Gods character before I started studying his word with sda and I also had a different view of the state of the death
You must understand that I came from a dark place, from necromancy group, from ancestors worship, fromcliving for Satan.
Untill I was saved by Christ Jesus.
All the above is my own experience..I thank God for revealing this to me by the power of his Holy Spirit. HH

Good luck in finding a church outside of the SDA Church ! They're pretty much all apostate churches who believe and teach that we only need to keep nine of God's 10 commandments. They also accept spiritualism by believing that , when we die , we either go to heaven or to hell . The Bible, however, clearly teaches that we rest or sleep, unconsciously, in the grave until the second coming . Also, the Lord tells us , in Leviticus , that certain foods such as pigs are unclean ; but pork is a big delicacy on the tables of most Christians outside of the SDA Church ! So we need to compare the lifestyle of the church's teachings with the church of the first century. There are also many other teachings that will identify a false church as well.

The biggest problem affecting Adventism is spiritual pride. A reluctance to accept the fact that our pioneers were wrong on some major biblical issues. Instead, we stonewall, do theological gymnastics, and text bending, in order to fit the word of God into Adventism, rather than fit Adventism into the word of God. Adventism is ruled by eisegesis. There's a spirit of intellectual dishonesty amongst our theologians; not all, but too many. All the lies, deceptions, cover-ups and dishonesty will one day come to nought. May God help the genuine truth seekers in Adventism to find the true Gospel.

2:21:32 is absolutely spot on about so many subjects in adventism. The amount of ignorance is very concerning. No, the Great Controversy is a fiction. Trying to claim it is a historical work is a disgrace to history.
“Ellen G White herself never claimed to be a prophet.”
If you listened to this stream, we talked about this quote. You are misrepresenting it to claim she said the opposite of what she actually said. Which is that she didn’t accept the title of prophet because her work entailed MUCH MORE than that name signified. She was more than a prophet.
“During the discourse, I said that I did not claim to be a prophetess. Some were surprised at this statement, and as much is being said in regard to it, I will make an explanation. Others have called me a prophetess, but I have never assumed that title. I have not felt that it was my duty thus to designate myself. Those who boldly assume that they are prophets in this our day are often a reproach to the cause of Christ.
My work includes much more than this name signifies. I regard myself as a messenger, entrusted by the Lord with messages for His people.
When this work was first given me, I begged the Lord to lay the burden on someone else. The work was so large and broad and deep that I feared I could not do it. I have been weak and feeble physically much of my life, but by His Holy Spirit the Lord has given me ability to perform the work entrusted to me. God has made plain to me the various ways in which He would use me to carry forward a special work. Visions have been given me with the promise, “If you deliver the message faithfully, and endure unto the end, you shall eat of the fruit of the tree of life, and drink of the water of the river of life.”-Letters & Manuscripts, Vol. 20 (1905), par. 8-11 (20LtMs, Lt 55, 1905, par. 8-11)
Furthermore, no, we’ve looked att statement after statement of her own words on this platform, where she is claiming the Holy Spirit authored ALL of her writings, she never wrote one sentence of heresy, to go against her writings was to go against the Spirit of God, the words in her books are barricaded by a thus saith the Lord, rejecting her writings eventually leads to atheism and rejection of the Bible outright, and on and on and on.
No, Christian’s don’t claim to be inspired by the Holy Spirit. Inspiration is not motivation. Inspiration is where God himself is speaking. No, every Christian doesn’t have God dictating revelation to them to reveal to the world as truth one is held accountable to.
Yet this is precisely what Mrs. White claimed about herself. Adventists can try and downplay her, dismiss her, and every other excuse we’ve heard, but it doesn’t change any of these plainly clear statements that are either twisted or downplayed because I think deep down Adventists know they are indefensible.

Then after they have been berated, they are told to "finish the work" and tell everyone the "3 angels messages" to scare them with mark of the beast, Sunday law, close of probation, time of trouble, death decree and last plagues. @@juligraham7319 Not only did Fannie Bolton know it was wrong (one of Ellen White's "assistants" who was told to "put on the polish"), there were laws since the late 15th century. These laws included making money off of plagiarism. The history of American copyright law originated with the introduction of the printing press to England in the late fifteenth century. As the number of presses grew, authorities sought to control the publication of books by granting printers a near monopoly on publishing in England. The Licensing Act of 1662 confirmed that monopoly and established a register of licensed books to be administered by the Stationers’ Company, a group of printers with the authority to censor publications. The 1662 act lapsed in 1695 leading to a relaxation of government censorship, and in 1710 Parliament enacted the Statute of Anne to address the concerns of English booksellers and printers. The 1710 act established the principles of authors’ ownership of copyright and a fixed term of protection of copyrighted works (14 years, and renewable for 14 more if the author was alive upon expiration). The statute prevented a monopoly on the part of the booksellers and created a “public domain” for literature by limiting terms of copyright and by ensuring that once a work was purchased the copyright owner no longer had control over its use. While the statute did provide for an author’s copyright, the benefit was minimal because in order to be paid for a work an author had to assign it to a bookseller or publisher.
Since the Statute of Anne almost 300 years ago, US law has been revised to broaden the scope of copyright, to change the term of copyright protection, and to address new technologies. For several years, the US has considered and acted on copyright reform. The Canadian government is considering copyright reform as well.
      1787: US Constitution
According to Article I, Section 8, Clause 8 of the US Constitution, “the Congress shall have power . . . to promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries.”
      1790: Copyright Act of 1790
The First Congress implemented the copyright provision of the US Constitution in 1790. The Copyright Act of 1790, An Act for the Encouragement of Learning, by Securing the Copies of Maps, Charts, and Books to the Authors and Proprietors of Such Copies, was modeled on the Statute of Anne (1710). It granted American authors the right to print, re-print, or publish their work for a period of 14 years and to renew for another fourteen. The law was meant to provide an incentive to authors, artists, and scientists to create original works by providing creators with a monopoly. At the same time, the monopoly was limited in order to stimulate creativity and the advancement of “science and the useful arts” through wide public access to works in the “public domain.” Major revisions to the act were implemented in 1831, 1870, 1909, and 1976.

What I can't get my head around is how one woman bullies and pushes around such a large number of strong intelligent leadership-type men. This despite seeing the track record that she was mentally ill. Why did all these people allow themselves to be dictated to by all these false visions? Like the story with some Mayor named Gage, this guy basically according to the story did nothing to defend himself against any of her attacks against him. According to the story, he seem to just have sat quietly while this woman bullied him for no apparent reason apart from the fact that people saw it fit to vote him in as mayor. Why didn't he take her to court or something for writing all those horrible things about him? Instead, he took the letter that she wrote with all the humiliating things about him and read it before the church congregation. It makes no sense. It sounds like she was some kind of mafia boss or something who could have you whacked if you didn't do as she told you to. All these doctors and educators just basically bent over and allowed themselves to be taken advantage of by a feebled-minded old woman. I don't believe it, there is something more to this story. My instinct tells me that maybe these people were connected to some kind of mafia or secret society capable of assassinating people or something. I'm sorry I can't believe fake visions alone would cause men of this kind of stature to behave in such a sheepish submissive manner.

The explanation of the 'daily' of Daniel Ellen White copied from Barnes:
Ellen White (1827-1915): “Then I saw in relation to the “daily” (Daniel 8:12) that the word “sacrifice” was supplied by man’s wisdom, and does not belong to the text, and that the Lord gave the correct view of it to those who gave the judgment hour cry. When union existed, before 1844, nearly all were united on the correct view of the “daily”; but in the confusion since 1844, other views have been embraced, and darkness and confusion have followed” (EW, pp. 74, 75, 1882).
Albert Barnes (1798-1870): “The word which is rendered “daily sacrifice” - the word “sacrifice” being supplied by the translators… [the Hebrew word Tamid]…. means, properly, continuance, prepetuity, and then what is continuous or constant - as a sacrifice or service daily occurring. The word sacrifice is properly inserted here” (Barnes’ Notes on The Whole Bible, 1834).

Cognitive dissonance kicks in and it is painful, not only emotionally but it causes physical pain as well and it is this cognitive dissonance one must work through, keep going above and over it with prayer for strength to find the real Jesus Christ and His full Gospel within Scriptures as a whole. It is a battle but the work of finding Christ and the finished Work he accomplished at the cross for us is sooo very worth it. The New Covenant is so much better over any of the old as well as completely different, but again it takes work and study and research to discover it over and above the indoctrination of Adventism's Ellen and the men surrounding her.

However, in her time it was impossible and unimaginable, so in her writings there is a more edible theory - the Sethite theory about mixed marriages of believers and non-believers. The theory is completely incorrect in biblical, historical and logical terms. In conclusion, her statement had nothing to do with racism, and her contemporary apologetics did her a disservice with their stupid apologetics. Please do your homework on "Genesis 6 Experiment". Chimeras, the mix of human and animal DNA, are becoming a reality just as they were before the flood. Today scientists are working on ways to grow human transplantable organs inside of pigs. Before the flood man was more than capable of creating supposably mythical monstrosities like the Minotaur (half-man, half-bull), the Centaur (half-man, half-horse), the Satyr (half-man, half-goat), and others. Remember, that God repented that he made not only man, but the beast also: "...it repenteth me that I have made THEM" Gen 6:7.
As far as man, before the flood, being capable of amalgamation of man and beast, remember that every previous generation was genetically superior, both mentally and physically. See the work by Dr. John Sanford "Genetic Entropy and the Mystery of the Genome" on TH-cam.

Pastor David House exposed this pastor I mentioned above in a video he made on you tube called, " six wives in six years." I'm an evangelical but find it scary that adventist follow mr Nougaisse... it would be interesting your take on these present truth ministries.

I was shunned by one of the Elders which I used to look up to so much . He became a pastor now . His name is Dr. Encil Brown . All I was doing showing him all the videos I had seen and the questions I had about Ellen white . He did not have any answers for me and shunned me , so sad ! As I got closer to our Father in heaven I had asked our father to lead me to the truth and to righteousness and what happened he did he opened my eyes and I started seeing all these videos exposing Ellen white . Now the you tube video with John Ankerberg and Walter.Martin . Walter Martin pulls out a quote that Ellen white had never borrowed anything from anyone and that it came straight from the Holy Spirit ! Another thing is that no one from the sda conferences had the courage to go on John Ankerberg show to defend Ellen white . They knew well they could not defend their dogma ! I think that was so cowardly from the sda conference ! I bet if anyone that would put Ellen white through the test and have Ken samples , Steve Daily , Gillian Ford , and any other theologians. Debate them they will not show up ! So what’s there excuse ?

In my understanding EG White was not a scholer to read other authors, because she was only a class 3 student, but what she wrote about something especially about christian reformation they fall inline with what others have written, what i can say is that just because they reveal the same fact it does not mean that she copied from other authors.

Truth is always bring out criticisms. At least when they attempt to do so, it is good advertisement for those who wish to know both side of the coin. The fact that they do so publicly is my first red flag. The Bible says if you have an issue with someone. Go to them privately and with love, care and prayer deal with the issue. The Bible says those who seek to publicly humiliate someone is linked to the accuser of the brethren. Red flag.

But we also find a similar text in the bible in the Acts of the Apostles 15,28: 'For it pleases the Holy Spirit and us not to burden you except these necessary things:...' - for me this sounds like blasphemy!

    Mr Myles,
This is my opinion to your ministry..
It took honest men and women in adventism, leaded by the spirit through prayers, faith, and sacrifices to preach the bible truth adventism is preaching today
My question to you: would you please stop attacking the beliefs system of the SDA and start a foundation of your version of truth so that people will choose by themselves whether to believe in your version of truth or not?
It seems you have many churches down the line to criticize and "expose" because they don't align with your belief system, such as Catholic, Methodist, evangelical etc... And it may take your lifetime on earth to criticize rather than to preach whatever truth you believe is true.

    • @answeringadventism

You’re a part of a movement that is definitionally an accuser of the brethren, that preaches a false gospel and a false christ. On top of that, you comment a bunch of niceties and falsities that have been addressed on this platform over and over and over again showing the evidence. Primary sources. Not Joe blow SDA with his own personal opinions. No, SDAism wasn’t started by honest men and women just searching for God. You sound extremely ignorant of SDA history and have only ever read it how they have told it to you.
Then you use the classic “if you address us you have to address everyone” excuse. Umm, no, you don’t. People can either be sharp and on the ball really well in one area of be mediocre across the board. I’ve talked about why I felt called to this specific focus-because I was equipped to do so and no one else was doing it. I have a unique relationship to Adventist, not just a random outsider that decided to address Adventistm. Did you bother to look into any of this?
There’s already plenty of outlets out there addressing Catholicism, Mormonism, etc. I started this platform with a specific cause and focus. Which you are obviously in the dark on and didn’t even bother to look into.
Go read the mission statement of the platform. This platform obviously isn’t for you. It isn’t about you. It’s about Christian’s. This is your first comment (we can see). When you don’t even bother to look into what you’re criticizing your opinion means very little.
You also dealt with no a single thing discussed here which is typical with some of you.

Still watching/listening to the video. This Jud Lake, Adventist Apologist who talks about how Adventism reformed in 1888 needs to learn the concept of "the Fruit of the Poisonous tree". You cannot completely erase the effects of a heretical theology when that heresy frames the other doctrines of the group. Besides this there is a lot of double mindednesses in Adventism when it comes to their reforms vs. staying true to their founders. It really reminds me of the parable of the foolish and wise builders, as well as the verse about a man "serving two masters". Adventists are always flip flopping around on issues. When it comes to things like the importance of Sabbath sometimes it seems like a passive aggressive bait and switch. Because on places like certain Christian internet forums they have to agree on certain beliefs like the Sabbath does not pertain to salvation etc. but that is obviously problematic when it comes to their official theology.

What difference does it make? You guys have a doctrine of Ellen White being divinely inspired and correcting of inaccurate interpretations of scripture. She’s supposedly the identifying mark of the remnant church because Jesus is speaking through her writings.
Yeah, if that’s not true, it’s kind of a big deal. It means Ellen doesn’t pass the biblical sniff test and you aren’t the remnant. Which brings the whole house of cards down because it’s a system and it’s all dependent upon other doctrines.

      2. 1.9 billion Muslims
      3. 1.16 billion Hindus
      4. Over half a billion Buddhist
      5. The billions of people in other religions.
      Source- World Population Review- internet
Most people don't know and/ or aren't interested in who SDA's are and confuse SDA's with Jehovah's Witnesses.
Anyhow there are people in the world who not only don't go to a job on Saturday but they worship God everyday.
But what the SDA church means by observing Sabbath is supporting their version and SDA's are not consistent at all as there are those high up in the church who make all kinds of interest and financial profit every day including Saturday.
I know that SDA's are waiting for Ellen White's version of Revelation to happen where after some spiritualism and false miracles that the SDA church will suddenly be the central focus of the world.
I am glad to be living in the days where knowledge is increasing and many are learning that Ellen White was involved in spiritualism like so many others in her time, and that the SDA church teachings are based on Ellen White and not on the bible that is the inspired Word of God.

Andrew, I've been in Gideon's discord server a bit the last month, and his "pastor" brother Josh is really gatekeeping Gideon. There's been lots of debates in voice chat and people trying to get Gideon's ear to get away from the Sabbath and other judaizing ideas, as well as get him to look at a proper view of the Trinity (bro. Josh believes only the Father and son are God, the Spirit is just an energy to him, so it's a dyad instead of triad).
The rules have massively changed this past month to not allow any discussion outside of what's accepted. In a way it's helped some people question "wait, why isn't this allowed to be discussed?" And they come to other servers to talk, but others just submit and accept the rules. It's very hard to set up discussions with Gideon to connect him with somebody that has a different viewpoint. It is sad and dangerous.

It’s not bearing false witness if you happen to be on the wrong side of an argument. The “euphemism” you elude to is based on your misunderstanding and misinterpretation of Protestant Theology. This was established at the conclusion of the Council of Trent:
“Tradition, not Scripture, is the rock on which the church of Jesus Christ is built.”-Adrien Nampon, Catholic Doctrine as Defined by the Council of Trent, p. 157
“Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third - Protestant Fourth - Commandment of God... The Church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.”
    -Catholic Record, September 1, 1923.

(Your own words.)!. you can't get there without believing the( first lie).. in in the first place. subtract 457 from 2300.. you had to believe that was 1844 in the fall to believe the rest of the lies.. a true Prophet can't lie. Leviticus 18. She puts you in Galatians 1 you're not going to come out! You can't!

Jimbob do you ever make any sense? Do you have a learning disability or something?
I see you are still parroting the same ol’ nonsense in every comment section. Try to stay with the actual statement I make and stay away from the tangents. One thing at a time Jimbob.
Nothing in what I posted here has anything to do with SDA theology. I learned it as a Baptist, my friend. Long before I even set foot in an SDA Church. So what I believe about Sabbath doctrine is irrelevant to what you believe about the SDA Church. You would already know this if you understood anything about the Church Council outcomes, specifically the Council of Trent. Since it predates Adventism, it has zero to do with EGW or the SDA Church.
So instead of the nonsense you just posted, how bout tell us what the outcome of Trent says about Sabbath vs Sunday? Which is Biblical and which is purely Catholic Tradition?

To the extent of the alleged plagiarism by Ellen White, it would seem that an individual with limited education would have to read insurmountable amounts of others writings to incorporate them into her own writings, that is unless she had several individuals assisting her in doing so. It appears from all the books and articles she wrote, that throughout her life she was consistently reading, copying, and writing. Quite amazing! Any thoughts?

😮A "True" prophet's prophecies will come true ; so that's the only valid criteria to use except , also, the prophet will not speak contrary to the Scriptures.
