Here's my idea: The lava kill counts as getting the kill as Boosfer clearly placed it, and Dev gets the coolest clutch. 27-27, tie game. Rematch.

Dev absolutely deserves the dub even if the video gets more likes than comments. It would be criminal to not give him the points for it. He got hit off, unequipped his shield mid air and then boat clutched from a 100 block fall. Nothing more needs to be said.

@@marktenten4262 Yes and no, because to my knowledge, there is the message '' tried to swim in lava to escape '', which should have appeared, but it didn't, but even so, it should count even without giving credit to him, otherwise the dev could have thrown himself into the lava not to give that point to him for example
@@LSans Which would have been legal. I don't know exactly how it works, but it must have been long enough since dev was hit by boosfer that kill credit disappeared. He didn't hit dev right before he died, he ran away and came back.

I just thought of an utterly broken strategy that could have been used in this competition.
Since the competition ends after the first death and since the best clutch gives 10 points but last one to survive gives only five, an absolutely broken strategy is to go for a clutch as soon as possible. Even a simple one like a water bucket clutch would work. After that literally just kill yourself. You are the only one who did a clutch, automatically giving you coolest clutch. Your opponent gets 5 points, but you get 10. Dev could've literally just murdered himself right after the boat clutch, giving him an instant win.
Also, Dev had the coolest clutch
IF Boosfer managed to get a mid air craft clutch he might be able to beat Dev, but the anvil dropping and mid air fishing rod were a good demonstration of his impressive Minecraft knowledge
