This girl is actually pretty. Sometimes when I see pretty girls say they are ugly I get annoyed and roll my eyes. Yes this woman is pretty. Pretty eyes, pretty face, pretty hair.
“I’m just sick of genetically gifted people talking about how to love yourself when the only person who thinks they’re ugly is themselves” GIRL if that isn’t the realest statement ever made
Winddragon Lundholm IKR like i hope they can feel how it really is to be ugly. I hope that when im 30 im gonna turn into a hot woman and the pretty girls in my class are gonna be ugly, wrinkly and fat and have like 5 kids. If that time ever comes they’re gonna know how it feels like being ugly and surrounded by beauties lmao 😂😈 edit: i dont know why i said this, i dont know who hurt me, but what i said here is awful and mean. no, being 30 and having 5 kids is not ugly, being not aesthetically attractive doesn't mean you're ugly. the fact that i forgot that i said this awful things about someone who have kids, WITH PLURAL is unforgiveable. i'm so sorry that i was being toxic. and the fact that i don't even remember i said this awful things just make things 1000000000x worst. parenting is not easy and anyone, especially myself, don't get to tell people whether they're attractive or not. i'm so sorry for being so toxic. if you read my comment and feel awful about yourself, PLEASE, DON'T LISTEN TO ME. i can be extremely stupid at times. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, ATTRACTIVE, GOOD LOOKING, HEALTHY, YOU HAVE A GREAT PERSONALITY AND DON'T LET ANYONE, AND I MEAN ANYONE ANYONE, TELL YOU OTHERWISE. OKAY? I LOVE YOU
the internet is so fucked up. Youre not ugly, you look normal. Like a normal young woman. Facetune and instagram really fucked up everyones perception of what's beautiful and what's not.
"Arrogance is thinking that you're better than everyone else. Confidence is just thinking that no one is better than you." Wow this line is so powerful. ** claps **
Sal Atherton ill explain it if you want (its kind of long tho so sorry) So basically its all in this quote about arrogance "BETTER than EVERYONE ELSE"....those key words imply you think everyone is BENEATH you...for an example ill use the rating sytem (1?/10) that people often use to convey attractiveness. ARROGANCE- you think you are a total 10/10 while everyone else is 9/10 or below. You may even try and convince other 10's their really just a 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 to make yourself feel more important because you are an arrogant a$$. CONFIDENCE- implys that you beileve NO ONE is BETTER THAN YOU implying that you dont feel you are LOWER than anyone else that you are JUST AS GOOD as every one else...you feel like you are 10/10 and you think that others around you can also be a 10/10. You would never let someone tell you that you are a 9 or below because you have a confident mindset! in conclusion ~ Arrogant ("I'm better than everyone") quote- "im f@ckin great, so much better than everyone else. confident ("nobodys better than me") quote- "Im great, and nobody can tell me im not great. I think im wonderful, but other people are wonderful too." hope that explains it for you,! its kind of a confusing statement, but its a powerful message and it also diplays how confusing the english language can be lol!
@@rosie5348 technically, no one is better than you could just mean you are all equal or the same. It's still bullshit tho, because ugly, fat people are less than others.
pretending i was beautiful was one of the worst things i ever did, made me feel 10x more insecure lmao. when i came to terms w the fact that i’m not conventionally attractive and that it is what it is my life finally started picking up
The truth truly will set you free.🙏 People don't like it when you call yourself unattractive because you don't give them a chance to say it first. As well as that, when people call you unattractive as an insult you don't care because you already know. Learn TRUE self esteem not the bs that goes away as soon as someone says your not cute or when you take your makeup off.
Why? You're a woman even if you're not a 10 you'll find someone that likes you. I'm a guy I'm 5'9 and ugly af What kind of chances I have to find someone lol. Cheer up lady this kind of thinking will only make it worse.
This is not the video to comment 'but you're so pretty!!' under. Even if you genuinely believe it. You've clearly not understood the point of this video.
"Happy people make sad people sadder, and sad people make sad people happier". This makes so much sense and I wish more people were aware of this. Only truths in this video. Queen tbh.
I agree it's true and it sucks but what are you supposed to do about it? Sacrifice your happiness because someone else sad? Im not gonna be depressed so someone else feels better, just like I'm not gonna sacrifice my health and become obese so obese peoole feel better about themselves
@@newta5208 you completely misses the point. You don't need to get an illness in order to be empathic. this is so much better than the whole "everyone is beautiful uwu" preach. plenty of us are plain or ugly and thats completely fine, we need to stop putting worth and importance on attractiveness and beauty when it doesnt mean a damn thing.
Looks actually mean everything. For the majority of people it can be the difference between a happy life or miserable life. It also affects you financially ugly people have a harder time getting jobs as aposed to their counterparts even with prestigious credentials. And if your really most people (including people of your same sex) will not want to be your friend no matter your personality. They would essentially be repulsed by you and will never want to be seen with you in public
Sham Rock i agree with this.. but not sure how i feel about “confidence is thinking no one is better than you.” like i can feel confident but there will always be people better then me out there, it’s not that hard to achieve lol. To me i feel like confidence is feeling good and proud of yourself?
Sham Rock I don’t think that’s what confidence is I searched it up to make sure and this is what I got for the third one: a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities
This video saved my life, honestly. I skip a lot of school because people keep "bullying" me because I'm ugly. I spend my lunch breaks in the bathroom for about 4 years because being ugly and getting bullied because of this made me "depressed" and shy. To be honest I think I lost my funny and happy personality because of all the things people would say about me. I really have no friends. I'm not just saying this, the only texts I got the last few weeks were from my family. But after watching this I changed the way I think. I'm 18, I'm still young, I'm just gonna get uglier the older I get so I should appreciate myself right now. I should get a goal in life and try to improve my grades so I can finally get a job and help my mom. If no one wants to be my friend I'll be my own best friend. I'm gonna try to work on my personality and actually speak up and care less about the stupid shit these people say to me. I actually spend my lunch break in the park today and it was really nice even tho I was alone :) THANK YOU SOO MUCH I hope I won't lose motivation. Sorry for my bad english, but I really wanted to share this. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say even tho my grammar sucks
Going by your thumbnail, you're not ugly at all. Keep on doing what you're doing. Some people get even more beautiful as they get older. You're in the prime of your life, enjoy yourself to the fullest. Every new day is a fresh start. You can reinvent yourself anytime you choose. You're in control, You have the power.
2:15 is so me😂 there were people in my life that made it clear how ugly i am to them, but there were people who fell in love with me dispite that. since i am now 26 years old i am not an insecure teen,i find my ugliness special in this world of "models" so i fully embraced it. look at it this way,be ugly and hardworking and fun and interesting and you will attract someone just like that, friend and boyfriend:) stay strong girl, as my people say "lepota je u oku posmatrača":)
My problem with being ugly is not about whether I 'love' myself or any of that stuff. It's about the practical effects of it. Being alone at night, without a partner to love. Being ignored so I can't get my views across. Being overlooked at work. If it weren't for these things I wouldn't give a damn what I looked like.
Yes exactly how I feel! I always think about how I’ll never have a mixed group of friends bc boys won’t even listen to me in convos, or like u said the fear of never being loved. Starting a TH-cam channel idk stuff like that I feel like prettier people have better experiences in life bc of what u said the “practical effects”
I don't know if you are a guy or girl but I believe you have to become more confident and assertive generally and especially at work. You have to start by doing things that boost your confidence be it self care, exercising, listening to motivational music, wearing nice clothes e.t.c. Try to dress well regardless of your size whilst ensuring your hair, nails and makeup is always on point as well as always smelling good. These are confidence boosters and will get you noticed. However you have to work on your inner self as well which include reading, being good at your job, being informed, being organized e.t.c. All the best.
+Arr Ere It doesn't quite work that way imo. Whilst narrow build (lanky) undermuscled guys are usually not considered conventionally attractive, a lot of conventionally attractive guys aren't muscular (but they're not undermuscled either). From seeing that I don't think getting muscles/going to the gym/lifting is a requirement to be considered attractive. Lots of male models aren't muscular yet are considered attractive. Face is way more important. And not be fat, but that standard goes for both men and women. Basically for men to be considered conventionally attractive they have to have a naturally average or heavy musculoskeletal (that means width of the frame of the skeleton and tendency for muscle mass) build, a good looking face, be tall and not be fat. For women to be considered attractive it's a nice face, not be fat, have correct body fat distribution and have the right proportions which are subject to body fat distribution and musculoskeletal build. Hourglass and pear shape are the most desired shapes for women. Narrow and average musculoskeletal build for women is the preference. A man loses the genetic lottery if he has an ugly face, has a narrow build and is short. A woman loses the genetic lottery is she has an ugly face, is too tall, has a wide musculoskeletal build (especially wide shoulders) and the wrong body fat distribution.
@Arr Ere Nobody said there would be a test. If you're asking what muscle mass % I mean with under muscled, I never really looked into that. If you're interested there are tables for that available, they are specific for sex and age as well. Dietitians use them. My opinion still stands that you don't have to lift or spend time at the gym in order to be considered attractive. Face and the other factors I mentioned are a big part of the equation, add a regular/average to heavy musculoskeletal build to that and your fine. You don't need statistics to see if someone is undermuscled either, you can just use your eyes and if they look scrawny, particularly weak or lanky that's it.
+Arr Ere Of course they prefer men with muscle. Doesn't mean that having an average musculoskeletal build isn't enough. You don't have to lift to be considered muscular or muscular enough. Aside from that a guy with an average musculoskeletal build who is healthy and has an attractive face is going to be considered far more attractive than a ripped body builder with a so so face.
I have watched so many “how to be confident” videos and NONE of them helped. But in this video when Abi said that personality wise she loves herself I FELT THAT
REAL confidence and self esteem comes from caring about your physical, mental, and spiritual heath THAT is confidence and beauty. How can one preach self love and esteem when you still don't take care of your health. If you start taking care of yourself you self confidence and self esteem will guaranteed rise.
This has become my comfort video whenever I'm feeling insecure about my appearance. It's so genuine and real in the best way possible! Makes me feel less ugly inside and out
Girl get your hair colored in the color you love even if it's green, pink, purple or all of them mixed together. Haters gonna hate! Don't bother yourself!
Mushy alert: I literally cannot describe the relief and affirmation I felt when I found this video. You said all the words I don't feel like I'm allowed to say for fear of people coming at me and accusing me of "pretty-shaming" or being petty/rude/etc and I'm just!! I can't, this is the most encouraging thing I've ever watched in my life. I think I'm disgusting, looking in the mirror literally makes me want to kill myself lol, but years of sifting through "self love" videos and articles didn't even remotely add up to the way this one video made me feel. I'm tired of hot people saying "looks aren't everything" when they don't know what it's like to be ridiculed and laughed at and have assumptions made about your character and worth and intelligence because you don't look the way they think you should.
There is this portuguese author, Vergílio Ferreira. He has this book called "On your face" (which, you know, sounds way more poetic and beautiful in portuguese) and a big theme in the book is how ugliness, disproportion, exaggeration and deformity are the truest, most pure forms of art because they are most natural and closest to what being a human being is. And because it's the ultimate expression of nature, it is therefore the most valid form of art. Being ugly is not a disadvantage. It's just part of being human.
Saw this on Instagram. Just wanted to come here. I agree. In an alternative universe we might be the same person. Perhaps in the Sims universe. Nonetheless, loved the message.
@@TaliankaSings True l hate it :( l have bad acne and a funny big nose. Been trying to get plastic surgery I'm tired of the jokes and people laughing cause of it.
Personally I think nothing's worse than being called pretty when they're obviously lying and just saying that to make you feel better ...but also, that's BS too It really sucks when all your friends and family are conventionally attractive because the only way they can relate is like "oh yeah I've felt like that, it's alllll in your head! People don't think you're ugly" and they just say what worked for them, which happens to be "Oh you're pretty" or "oh you're not ugly"
this skin care routine shit...i never understood. i mean. am i the only one giving shits about skincare? i shower and then i throw some kinda creme on my face. thats it. no routine. no daily this and that. just because some people seem to have nice skin sometimes doesnt mean their routine must be perfect.
@@enneki929 My comment was intended to compliment becauseher face is clear and glowing HAHAHA. And you are lucky to not have to deal with acne and scarring. I live in a hot ass country and I also have very oily skin so those two never go well together. I always have frequent acne popping up all over my face :(
Her personality is GOLD! I'll be real, she's definitely not the most attractive person ever but the way she is so well spoken makes me fell in love with this amazing person.
I think she's really pretty. I get that not everyone has the same type so I can understand someone saying "she's average / nothing special" but it would be BS to call her actually ugly.
I love being ugly because I am confident smart, conceited, educated full of myself happy alone and intimidating. If others think you are ugly it is because they are intimidated by your greatness cockiness and confidence and etc.. Start giving yourself happiness. Be happy they feel bad about themselves to compete with you to make themselves feel better!
Gosh I knew I rolled my eyes at all those self confidence tips for a reason. This video weirdly makes me want to move my ass to become a confident person more than any of these videos out there ever did (I actually would go on deep depressive episodes after watching those videos lmao funny how that works)
This quite possibly may be the realest video on TH-cam lol It's exhausting trying to be pretty. Once you've accepted yourself at your worst, so will other people. Once you've accepted your insecurities, that exhausting fear of other people uncovering them will fade.
I love how you are validating people's feelings. You do NOT have to pretend to be happy. Being negative sometimes doesn't mean you are too much or that you're going to make others miserable. IT IS OKAY TO FEEL LIKE SHIT FOR WHATEVER REASON. Having only positive emotions is not REAL. You are completely validated in whatever feelings you have, and you do not need someone constantly telling you to "look on the bright side" or "be more positive".... Feel how you feel! Healing and everything else comes after but never let anyone make you feel bad for feeling bad. Those perfect happy lives exist only on social media, they're fake! ..... this is just one small part of the amazing things said in this video, I just wanted to emphasize
the whole like body positivity movement has kinda...failed because it isn't like this. instead of being like 'oh everyone's beautiful!!!' it should really be 'it's ok to not be beautiful'. it's okay to not be up to society's standards on beauty. fantastic video.
yesss. i'm okay looking (well, okay looking if you compare me to other people without makeup... if you compare me to made up and photoshopped chicks i'm not even average haha) and that's fine. i'd rather be smart, creative, funny, and kind over pretty... and i prioritize how i spend my time accordingly. if i do spend time on my body my goal is to be stronger and more able to do things... not to be a better decoration. if i need something pretty to look at i'll paint it lol.
A big, fat YES!!! I think, the problem is that beauty is still considered to be an important category, also by the bodypositivity movement. But it isn't.
Agreed! It's a pretty shitty world when Margot Robbie grew up thinking she was ugly. Even Rebel Wilson, Toni Collett, Lena Dunham receive online abuse for their looks. Just ridiculous. There's just too much attention paid on looks. In 2018, it's perfectly acceptable for strangers to abuse someone purely on their looks. Then completely deny it when confronted. Some many people are suffering in silence, daily. What gives anyone the right to abuse anyone regarding their looks. Is it any wonder the suicide rate increases year on year ? People are even denied jobs, homes, relationships because of their looks, and there's nothing they can do about it. No one will listen, or take this issue seriously. Other forms of discrimination and abuse are outlawed, but not this. Why ? Aesthetically challenged people have to fight back, against this bias towards them in society at the hands of the aesthetically appealing.
nikita Its actually better, because that just proof that the person you’ll end up with will like you because of ur personality, not some artificial looks that can fade when you age.
nikita Awww your welcome, just know that there will be a person out there, that will truly love you, in fact, maybe that person is finding for you too! Hehhehe 😅
oh my goodness I love you???? you're so funny and real & ive never related to someone so closely before. being actually fat/ugly was a damn TRIP through puberty but now I'm like someone's gonna think I'm ugly no matter what so like who cares? Love you!!
Puth 1991 Im not sure if this is flattery or a backhanded compliment but thank you nonetheless! & lemme just say, Snapchat filters and pounds of makeup + angles do wonders lmao trust me I ain't cute but thank you 💞
This is the most motivating video I’ve ever watched. And Abby, I want you to know that I clicked on your video over Shane’s when they were right next to each other cause you’re a queen
Pretty people saying “you’re not ugly” make me feel worse tbh. Ik they’re doing it to be nice but that’s what I don’t like. And it’s not like I can’t fix it with surgery or sum because it’s the freaking length of my nose I hate.
Agreed. or pretty people saying "oh its fine you're pretty" but everything in their face just says "oh I feel bad for you" For me though, fixing it with surgery would be impossible. Or at least it would take a lot of money and probably a sacrifice to my health. So I gave up on that idea, but it would be nice if people were just allowed to be ugly instead of constantly being basically invalidated
Cause she is. No acne, nice features, great teeth. She has a few things that make her less conventionally beautiful for today's standards, sure, like being overweight, but that's a far cry from being ugly. She is not ugly in the least.
she is really pretty like she was going on about "omg ppl laugh at me" and i was like whyyyyyyy like shes not im gonna laugh at you ugly, she is actually normal
Yes omg. Being fake positive put me so much deeper in depression but no one ever believes me cause they don't wanna believe that it can have that effect. I've been looking for a video like this. Like I'm sick of confidence having to be intertwined with beauty culture. Like the world is so obsessed with beauty that everyone have convinced themselves that inorder to love yourself you must find your self physically attractive/pretty (unless your fat - cause then they'll usually tell you to lose weight first before loving yourself - hypocrites)
I actually think you're pretty cute. when you said "theyre literally the only one who doesn't think theyre cute. sometimes we're the only ones who believes we are cute." i felt that sm.
"you still look hidious" "... good for you *clap clap clap*" i love this D: preach T T for me, it's funny. I grew up with everyone telling me i was ugly when i was a tomboy and when i started to embrace my girly side, now people tell me i'm pretty but i still see my ugly self. tbh i don't really understand the concept of beauty outside of what people will subconsciously see as symmetrical, balanced, or pleasing in their brain. more than how i physically look, i feel like i have an issue with people not liking me for being too crazy but you know what a couple years ago i was like whatever i'm still crazy and sometimes i absolutely hate it but good for me LOL in the end i feel like that's the most important is growing your insides because the prettiest person can become the ugliest person if their insides are trash and vice versa.
This video is so weird because it made me so emotional but at the same time the way you said everything made me laugh in a way that I haven’t laughed like in a long time. Thank you for this video.
@@allydidomenico371 HAHA same...I would be all smiles and then she says some wise stuff and then I stop laughing and be like, "Wait what..." (mind is blown)
I think of every compliment I got in my life because there’s been so little of them that I truly remember every moment and day and situation when someone called me pretty without “oh noo honey you are pretty”. And that awkward moment when everyone always compliments your friends while you’re just standing next to them hearing all those nice things that were never told, not even by my best friend. The only competent I got from her, was after 3 years of friendship.. “you know.. you actually are kinda so-so pretty, if you could just change...” and that made me realize that I truly am hideous but glad that when people like me I’m sure it’s not for my looks (but it would still explain why I’ve never had a boyfriend hah)
Well Abi..strange as it may sound, where i come from (i'm from Egypt) women who look like you are society's perfect image of beautiful. Skinny, or muscular tanned brunettes are not considered beautiful in the middle east (at least not by popular standards). Like if you walked down the streets in Cairo the men would be chasing you, whistling at you and the women would stare at you in envy. White, curvy or chubby blue eyed blonde women are considered the epitome of beauty in Egypt. Weird how cultural beauty standards differ it just shows that beauty is what you make it.
Nothing Here not true.. only in the upper class and upper middle class the beauty standards were globalized. But not by popular standards.. by popular standards in egypt someone like alessandra ambrosio will not be considered beautiful. Only last month a skinny Egyptian actress called Dina El Sherbini with cheryl cole's skin tone was bullied all over social media for being skinny and dark skinned she was called an ugly twig and was blatantly compared to another white blonde actress.
Hmmm... I've always wanted to visit Egypt. I'm a blonde, blue eyed, curvy(with real curves) white woman. Where I live, I've always been looked upon like I'm fat. Maybe I need to make a trip to Cairo.
I've never once in entire my life seen someone who was ugly. I've seen people who thought they were ugly but to me everyone is a beautiful work of art in their own way. Society is so obsessed with the idea that we have to look absolutely showstopping 24/7. The beauty standards for everyone nowadays are insanely high. I had a breakthrough today when I found out that some of these models and celebrities that a lot of people look up to and have had surgeries to alter their appearance STILL photoshop their Instagram pictures. It just made me realize that not even the surgically "perfect" people we look up to may not see themselves as entirely perfect or else they would be satisfied enough with their appearance to not photoshop their bodies to unrealistic proportions. The bottom of the line is no matter what we get done to ourselves on the outside unless we do some serious thinking and self love on the inside we won't find ourselves truly attractive and we will always be nit picking at our appearance, looking for flaws to correct. This is all coming from an ugly person myself by the way with a really pretty sister. While I am happy for her now I used to be jealous and almost competitive because I felt so unlovable due to my physical features. Then one day I realized that there's always going to be someone better than you. For me that just happened to be someone in my own home. That's why it's best to just work with what you have. Everyone has something absolutely gorgeous about them that they might not even be aware of. Even if you are not your ideal type, I guarantee there is someone out there who thinks you are drop dead beautiful. Also try not to give too much power to your insecurities because you'll be surprised how many people don't even notice them. In my case, I am very insecure about some scarring I have on my arms. I thought it was glaring obvious to anyone who looked at me what they were from and I was worried people were constantly judging me. However, when I confessed this to my new friend, they were shocked to find out how anxious I was about them and said they had hardly noticed they were there. YOUR INSECURITIES AREN'T AS VISIBLE AS YOU THINK THEY ARE. Sorry for the long winded ramble, but if my little speech helped even just one person feel more comfortable in their own skin I'm extremely happy. Best wishes to all of you on your self love journey 💕
Same I've never thought someone was ugly, I've rarely thought someone was beautiful, we're all average and people all "feel" the same (despite looking different) until I start to know them personally and then their colors bloom, it's like everyone is grey to me until I get in contact with their soul. Sometimes I see really beautiful people, but it's rare, and I don't care anyways. What does their beauty have to do with how my day is going? We all have a mix of socially attractive and unattractive traits, they balance each other, and then each year there's a spinning fortune wheel to chose the new beauty standards and everyone's attractiveness percentages get an update depending on which of their traits are in fashion and vice versa, and it's okay, it's human, but I still don't care just like I don't care about dogs not liking me for example, I just keep going and live my life
“Beauty is, in some way, boring. Even if its concept changes through the ages… a beautiful object must always follow certain rules. A beautiful nose shouldn’t be longer than that or shorter than that, on the contrary, an ugly nose can be as long as the one of Pinocchio, or as big as the trunk of an elephant, or like the beak of an eagle, and so ugliness is unpredictable, and offers an infinite range of possibility. Beauty is finite, ugliness is infinite like God.” - Umberto Eco; On The History of Ugliness
orbitzz you won’t probably, there are so many people addicted to surgery because they kept on saying if i get this done i’ll be enough but actually it will never be enough for them so they keep on getting things done to achieve the unrealistic “perfect” beauty that doesn’t even exist
@@adina8064 that beauty exists, but even surgery can't give it to you. It's almond shaped eyes, positive eye canthal tilt, squared jawline and beautiful nose. Every person that goes through surgery wants to look like Jordan Barrett or Adriana Lima or any other model, but surgery is not so good so they'll look just plastic and artificial.
@@helloworld7818 you do understand that the beauty standards were just created for marketing and to make people think they're not good enough ? :) its truly a sad world we live in where (unconcious) people judge by someones appearance. The best kind of beauty someone can give to themselves is confidence and those kind of people are SEEN EVERYWHERE. They literally shine. Beauty standards are just an illusion.

"Arrogance is thinking that you're better than everyone else. Confidence is just thinking that no one is better than you."
Wow this line is so powerful.
** claps **
aren’t they they same thing though
Sal Atherton nope I don't think so. There's a subtle but strong difference in meaning
Sal Atherton ill explain it if you want (its kind of long tho so sorry)
So basically its all in this quote about arrogance "BETTER than EVERYONE ELSE"....those key words imply you think everyone is BENEATH you...for an example ill use the rating sytem (1?/10) that people often use to convey attractiveness.
You would never let someone tell you that you are a 9 or below because you have a confident mindset!
in conclusion ~
Arrogant ("I'm better than everyone") quote- "im f@ckin great, so much better than everyone else.
confident ("nobodys better than me") quote- "Im great, and nobody can tell me im not great. I think im wonderful, but other people are wonderful too."

Looks actually mean everything. For the majority of people it can be the difference between a happy life or miserable life. It also affects you financially ugly people have a harder time getting jobs as aposed to their counterparts even with prestigious credentials.
I actually spend my lunch break in the park today and it was really nice even tho I was alone :)
THANK YOU SOO MUCH

*Sorry for the grammar, I hope you still get what I was trying to say*
Hi lovely, great message. 💜 to you!
2:15 is so me😂 there were people in my life that made it clear how ugly i am to them, but there were people who fell in love with me dispite that. since i am now 26 years old i am not an insecure teen,i find my ugliness special in this world of "models"
so i fully embraced it.
look at it this way,be ugly and hardworking and fun and interesting and you will attract someone just like that, friend and boyfriend:) stay strong girl, as my people say "lepota je u oku posmatrača":)
Exactly!!
All the best.
exactly, if none of these practical things mattered I would care less about looking the way I do
I feel the exact same way. I love how I look. I just wish other people didn't hate it.
The fact that she's spewing all this and she's actually quite pretty
AHA called out im a fraud! no I swear my videos r flattering and in real life im looking like frozen casserole
shut up abi you're cute

Katie Rose girl i bet ur a goddess irl
I just took the biggest breath of relief. THANK YOU.
Agreed. or pretty people saying "oh its fine you're pretty" but everything in their face just says "oh I feel bad for you"
For me though, fixing it with surgery would be impossible. Or at least it would take a lot of money and probably a sacrifice to my health. So I gave up on that idea, but it would be nice if people were just allowed to be ugly instead of constantly being basically invalidated
well i think you are pretty
Cause she is. No acne, nice features, great teeth. She has a few things that make her less conventionally beautiful for today's standards, sure, like being overweight, but that's a far cry from being ugly. She is not ugly in the least.
@@kousetsuhana honestly she's not grotesque but she's not pretty either.
Omg your pro pic :,) love that
she is really pretty like she was going on about "omg ppl laugh at me" and i was like whyyyyyyy like shes not im gonna laugh at you ugly, she is actually normal
we honestly stana king
You’re what we need in this world
"you still look hidious" "... good for you *clap clap clap*" i love this D: preach T T
for me, it's funny.
NamiiCho MY QUEEENNN!! WORD!!
NamiiCho AMEN
Can relate so much with this!!
This video is so weird because it made me so emotional but at the same time the way you said everything made me laugh in a way that I haven’t laughed like in a long time. Thank you for this video.
same
Same...It was very conflicting. lol
literally same i was laughing so hard and then she would spring some meaningful shit in and i wasn't sure what to do
@@allydidomenico371 HAHA same...I would be all smiles and then she says some wise stuff and then I stop laughing and be like, "Wait what..." (mind is blown)
"You don't have to love yourself to love yourself"
'it takes nothing to be confident' tell that to my social anxiety
Same
We're socially anxious because we're from another planet we'll be okay 😉
HAHA same
the motivational speaker we deserve
Arr Ere loooool the 100 million Egyptians would disagree :) also the 411 million middle eastern population would strongly disagree..
same in Chile, and if she is tall, she could be a model because here being blond a having blue eyes and tall are like the synonym of success
Hmmm... I've always wanted to visit Egypt. I'm a blonde, blue eyed, curvy(with real curves) white woman. Where I live, I've always been looked upon like I'm fat. Maybe I need to make a trip to Cairo.
No one is ugly, they just born in the wrong location
We all have a mix of socially attractive and unattractive traits, they balance each other, and then each year there's a spinning fortune wheel to chose the new beauty standards and everyone's attractiveness percentages get an update depending on which of their traits are in fashion and vice versa, and it's okay, it's human, but I still don't care just like I don't care about dogs not liking me for example, I just keep going and live my life
this helped me a lot thank you
Lies I’ve been bullied off facial structure alone then my behavior second
Our scars are beautiful ❤
Thank you sm 💗
“Beauty is, in some way, boring. Even if its concept changes through the ages… a beautiful object must always follow certain rules. A beautiful nose shouldn’t be longer than that or shorter than that, on the contrary, an ugly nose can be as long as the one of Pinocchio, or as big as the trunk of an elephant, or like the beak of an eagle, and so ugliness is unpredictable, and offers an infinite range of possibility. Beauty is finite, ugliness is infinite like God.” - Umberto Eco; On The History of Ugliness
great quotation.
Lol, shit quotation, the contrary can be applied to beauty aswell.
It wasn't written about beauty. It was written with ugliness in mind, therefore the sentiment in it is unaffected, and it's still great.
@@Wakeupgrandowl ok, that's a respectable way of looking at it.
If u became prettier right now u still wouldnt feel enough and thats a fact.
Strawberrymilkshakeu for me I would
Nah I would feel enough lmao
orbitzz you won’t probably, there are so many people addicted to surgery because they kept on saying if i get this done i’ll be enough but actually it will never be enough for them so they keep on getting things done to achieve the unrealistic “perfect” beauty that doesn’t even exist
Beauty standards are just an illusion.
never commented on a video before but honestly she's understood me through the space of under 6 minutes more than Anyone else has before
I found the vid years ago and come back to it every so often. It’s still the most mood boosting thing I can watch when I’m feeling down. Thanks for making me and so many others smile and feel better about ourselves, Abi. ❤
Same at least once a year I'll come here and always walk away feeling better
Me too
