I really only had 4 issues with this game in the end, they removed the C4 mines, the missions/base destruction wasnt as fun (since they didnt require you to blow up everything in the base, just shoot little targets and press buttons in between defending yourself), the hyped-up weather storms werent what they were lead up to be (only the tornado was actually fun to mess with), and they removed all the shit-yourself hilarious stuff like the nukes, airstrikes, etc that made 3 fun.
I think it was ps2, It was called Mercenaries (never played the second, the first was a really good game for the time), warzone, blow stuff up, do fun (dumb stuff). edit: Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
At 1:42 Why is there a trail behind vehicles? I could swear it wasn’t noticeable before the latest patch from 2 years ago. I’m surprised the devs haven’t addressed this. I thought it was my TV being defective but since I saw this, I’m thankful I’m not the only one who sees the trail.
Yeah no, Dan's just wrong JC3 was better in most ways. The DLC, the missions, more destructable bridges, the soundtrack, characters, trains that could actually derail...I'd say the biggest plusses to JC4 were of course the grappling hook balloons/boosters and settings, and the huge warzones.
Even just the map itself is a bit boring I feel. Its just one big square of land without really any landmarks. In Just Cause 2 you would find all these places like the giant radar dish in the jungle, the frozen ice lake, the lost island, the mile high club and think "Ok, theres DEFINITELY a mission here later in the game". But I feel like theres much less of a sense of that in JC4. Just 4 biomes split into quadrants with military bases dotted around. Even the collectables in JC2 were fun to find I feel. You go to a really far out tiny island in JC2 and you might actually find something but in 4 theres just nothing. Even if you say collectables are boring but come onnn, I do like me a bit of raw dopamine. Number go up.
The only thing i miss from 3 are all the destructible bridges, and the water effects. Jc4 is so much more fun to just fuck around and play in than 3 was. 3 was so much more restrictive in the sandbox its unreal
the one thing JC4 has going for it, is the simulation of air resistance. I don't think I've played any other game that attempts to emulate the behavior of objects in response to aerodynamic drag.
@@LeeAndersonMusic No kidding. I've played through the main story + DLC of JC3 five times and 100 percented it twice. Meanwhile, I deleted JC4 the moment I finished the main story and never looked back. Granted, this was before the whole "Reloaded" thing, but I seriously doubt that would’ve changed anything.
Even Crackdown is better than JC4. Then again, he did say that the prologue of RDR2 was 'horrible', despite calling Kingdom Come Deliverance, which has a linear prologue that is longer and thunderously dull, one of the best games ever.

I used to just drive the cars around in Mercenaries 2. I would follow all the rules of the road too.
@@praiserehersalvideos were there mutiple versions of that game? All the videos of it looked way better than the one i had
@@ScootSimp911 Yes there were! (I think I remember because I never had the original maybe?)
It's cool and all but i def didn't like the limited vehicle ammo.
I wanna bomb everything.

God I love this game
completes series when
This has caused me to fully expand my ps4 version with everything haha 😅about £10 in the uk at the moment :)
I just can't get over how ugly they made Rico.

Plus it had that Nuclear Rocket Launcher

Jc4 is the best just cause, you can't change my mind

4 | 4
Well... I loved just cause 3 way more. 4 was not so good... it feels rushed game.
Same, I also had the issue that stuff like the big ship would despawn within view and not far away so I couldn't even do much with the drops
Dan says "its not a downgrade". But it really is. Every time I tried playing it I ended up playing jc3 instead because it's just so much better

@@B_Skizzle I can't even get through the story missions. The game is SO boring. Destruction is optional now so it feels like it's just a waste of time

Said the prologue was bad, not the whole game. A game can have bad bits and still be good, see rdr2 as the perfect example
Wow, jc4 really you could head play jc3
He chose to play the superior just cause game.
