i know it is just a commercial for carlton draught. but it is great to see these football communities get some sort of boost. in a small town the atmosphere of game day is unique. to see 99% of the town encircling the ground in their cars is a long way from the carparks and stadiums of metro and professional teams. sport is always a good cushioner for life. even more so in isolated struggling communities. football and netball teams are as important as a bank or post office. i miss the bush......
