Solid selections! All very similar to my choices. The only difference is that my shotgun is a multi-barrel Mossberg 500 and I did go with a .30-30 as my 5th firearm. Good video.
@TACNERD1 I do have a .308. A Mossberg Patriot. Most frustrating rifle in my inventory. The best I've gotten with it are 3" @ 50 yrds and 8" @ 100 yds. It is indeed light and handy, but can not be relied upon.
I know I am in CA, but if rules do not matter but considering my budget, my firearms would be… 1. A 9mm pistol. Looking at a Glock 49, Glock 19, Glock 17, Glock 34, Springfield XD9 (any), Springfield Echelon, Springfield Hellcat Pro, Sig Sauer P365 X Macro, Sig P365 XL, Rost Martin RMC1, and others. (Whatever my budget and skill level can handle comfortably to the point I can conceal it easily.) 2. A semiautomatic rifle that can chamber 5.56 AND .308. Looking at the Desert Tech WLVRN and Primary Weapons UXR. If there’s an AR that can do this and I can have access to it, I’ll most likely take it as well as long as it is reliable and comfortable to use. 3. A crossbow. This would be perfect because it’s quiet and can be used in the backyard of a home rather than looking for a gun range. (I have a better chance training with this even in a lockdown compared to other firearms.) 4. An ankle gun. The Sig Sauer P238 (especially the HD version) or a snub nose revolver. 5. Depends. It’s either a second 9mm pistol, a .45 ACP pistol (such as the Springfield XD45 Tactical), a pistol chambered in another caliber, a full size magnum revolver chambered in .357, or a 12 gauge shotgun.
I have lots of guns ranging from AR15 down to 22 revolver. But these would be my picks. Ruger Gunsight Scout in 308 - 12 gauge Mossberg 500 18in barrel - Ruger GP100 Match Champion 357 mag - Daddys High Standard Sport King 22 - and my Mothers Colt Police Positive 38 Special. All of those would serve me fine for the rest of my life. Quick note: I am not a fudd. I think everyone should have what every they want. These are just mine. Now if a war broke out, there will be no shortage of AR's, AK's or any other firearm you feel you need to kick ass. You just have to survive the first 3 hours.
Now that I've finally got my LTC here's my top 5 choices. 357 magnum / 38 Special lever action rifle also a double action revolver. 12 gauge pump action shotgun 9mm Luger pistol caliber carbine And a 30 caliber full power rifle. Either a Springfield M1A or M1 Garand.
Especially if you’re in CA. If your’re in another state, you can use a chassis system for some pistols (especially the Glocks) to make them be like rifles and PCCs.
A Glock 21, which is .45 caliber, can have conversion barrels dropped into it. Thus, you can turn your 45 into: 40, 357, 38spl, 380, 9mm. You have to use the proper magazines for the round. I was just shooting my Glock 22 which is 40cal. I popped in my 9mm conversion barrel & 9mm mags. ZERO issues. The rule is that you can go down in caliber to ANYTHING that they make, but NOT the other way around. In other words, if you buy a 380 Glock, you CANNOT drop in a 45 cal barrel. The sizes are too small. This works because say you bought a 45 cal Glock. To drop in a 9mm barrel, the outside of the conversion barrel is in the exact same dimensions as the 45, but the inner dimensions are in 9mm caliber. It CAN'T go the other way around because it's already too small. So save yourself a fortune & buy a Glock 10mm or 45cal. Then you can buy conversion barrels for $50 bucks & have yourself a ghost gun, save yourself hundreds of dollars, & give your platform a wider range of uses.
It's an idea and I did consider that. It is a lot to buy however (barrels, magazines and ejectors) and I still contend that the majority of ammo I'm going to find is going to be 9mm.
I do agree with some of your pics myself personally handgun but I do like revolvers simple fact if you end up in the woods at least 357 will take down most wild animals more than 9 mm not saying it can't also 357 used two types of ammo and 38. Shotgun now go to win the Mossberg or the Remington also I think that people forget that you might want to get into a bow so you don't make no noise when you're out hunting

I very nearly picked the 30-30, I still go back and forth on that one.

I really was considering adding something like either a bow or x-bow or even a pellet rifle. Any of those would be a valuable tool.

Interesting choices.
Now that I've finally got my LTC here's my top 5 choices.
357 magnum / 38 Special lever action rifle also a double action revolver.
12 gauge pump action shotgun
9mm Luger pistol caliber carbine
And a 30 caliber full power rifle. Either a Springfield M1A or M1 Garand.
I think the choice of a 357 rifle and pistol is a solid pick.
I have exactly 5 handguns, I can live without shotgun or AR.
Especially if you’re in CA. If your’re in another state, you can use a chassis system for some pistols (especially the Glocks) to make them be like rifles and PCCs.
Glock 48, ar15 (with a 22lr conversion kit in the bag), wasr10, saiga ak in 308, and a CZ75 shadow
Interesting picks and no shotguns! Bold picks.
My Five Firearms:
6-inch Smith & Wesson 357 magnum revolver
6-inch Heckler & Koch 45acp USP pistol
Ruger Mini 14 223/556 rifle
12-gauge shotgun
30-06 bolt-action rifle
Those are solid picks, I'm sure some would have issues with the Mini-14 but given the proper attention, I think they're good.
I agree with the lever gun pick for .22 I have the same rifle as my .22 it's the best ever made imo.
Easy to use, easy to maintain, and rock solid reliability. Exactly.

M1A, Winchester 30/30 SW 357 mag a bolt action .22 and a single shot 12 ga shotgun.
Good Choices!

The bow is a good idea, I was thinking of adding a pellet rifle for a similar reason.
@TACNERD1 slingshot would be another option
@@todd5792 Or just throw rocks.
Why don’t you ever want to get a suppressor?
